Which one of these QB's do you take RIGHT NOW? Big ben seems to be on a downward spiral, If Eli wasnt named manning everyone would want his head, and Rivers could be having beginners luck.

Who do you take and why? I have to say Big ben now since he did win a SB! I know he had great D and a running game but he did win one

Philip Rivers.

Because I chose him over them when they were all rookies.

It only makes since...I think Rivers may be a little better but Romo is making 700,000 this year...steal.

The Cowboys will sign him to a huge contract then he will show why he was undrafted. It makes perfect sense now.

Statistically, even before Big Ben's downward spiral, his numbers were not really better than Eli's in terms of yardage gained or touch down passes and Big Ben had an earlier start to his playing time.

With that said, I'd say Philip Rivers because he's shown to be more technicially sound than Ben and has had more poise than Eli. I still think Eli will have a good career when it's all said and done but Philip offers the mobility that Eli was believed to have and Philip has an arm that's just as strong while he has yet to develop alot of the bad habits that Eli has displayed.

Eh, sure rivers looks great this year but I cant take a QB that hasnt shown it for more than 1 season. Hell Ben won the superbowl last year and now is falling off the map. Same could happen to rivers next year

I agree with you on the one year wonder crap but in regards to all the tangibles Rivers had them coming out of college just like Eli did. The thing that intrigues me about Rivers is that he has yet to develop the bad habits and that's why I'd take him over Eli.

Man I wonder how this whole situation would look if Eli went to S.D.

Has not changed since they were drafted Rivers, though I didnt think he would play this well so fast in his first season as a starter. I do think SD's running game covers up a lot of his flaws and keeps the D-line from batting down balls because of his awkward release but he looks to be much more polished a passer than the other two.

Ben played horribily in the Superbowl though. His passer rating was in the 20's. Ben did not win the game, the defense, the runing game, and the trick plays did. This season he leads the league in INTS.

I agree Rivers hasn't appeared in enough games to really know if he can keep this up on a consistant level.

Eli has had some great games, and some terrible games.

In the spirit of this question, I'd be tempted to take Eli, as I feel like he's played enough games I know what I'd be getting, although it's tempting to grab Rivers and hope he can keep it up.
