not really looking for them to be our pick
we need either Nelson/Landry/Willis
those are three guys we should take should they fall to us

I don't agree.
We'll take the best player available...Woodley and especially Adams are fine as 4-3 DEs. We're not set in stone that we'll be running a 3-4. We'll get the best players we can get, and decide from there.

I know for a fact Nolan is going to be intrigued by Woodley. He projects as a good 4-3 DE and has experience playing 3-4 OLB, which is the versatility he loves. Alot of people think Woodley will fall to the 2nd, if he does expect us to move up in the 2nd (give up a later pick) and get him.

Wow...really?
I don't expect him to get out of the top 10.

I've watched him a number of times and would love to have him.

I'm surprised by it too but that's what I've been seeing, alot of late first projections for him. I think he would be perfect for us, I think he can play anywhere as a 3-4 LB, ILB or OLB, he could be take on a merriman type role.

I remember reading somewhere that Nolan and Scott will still take the BPA and he will adapt the scheme to what happens in the off-season. If the BPA is a NT and he can get another LB then they will probably go 3-4 but if he gets Woodley or someone like that to play on the line it would be a 4-3. Then again he could always mix it up too. Personally I would like to know what scheme will be run and then get players to fit it but I trust Nolan & Co.

True story.

That's why I think Woodley will be so intriguing. I really don't think Nolan has a set scheme right now, he's kind of just winging it, and early on in the season we could tell. With someone like Woodley, he can do what he wants.

Those 3 guys because we will not draft a Tweener in the first roundDefinitely not Quentin Moses, unless Nolan and the scouts see something I don't see. Plus, we already have a lanky, pass rushing college defensive end, whom we coverted to outside linebacker (Lawson).
Pass rushers are at a premium. If Adams is available, I think we'd absolutely take him, but there's no way he'll be there at #11. However, there's a good possibility that Woodley will be there, and players like Landry, Hall, Branch, and Okoye will be gone. I think our choice will be between Woodley, Willis, Nelson, Posluszny, and Revis.

Timmons declaring just knocked him down the board a bit.
Meachem, Carriker, and Dorsey should all be around at #11 as well.
