Jay Alford, DT....He is really showing his speed and athleticism right now. I have been watching this guy a bit this season. He is 6'3", 280lbs and lightning fast. An option QB in HS. He is one of the fastest players off the ball in the NCAA this year. He is strong enough, and absolutley fast enough to be a DE in the NFL. His athletic ability would even enable him to be an OLB. He has 8 sacks and 13 TFLs and is a senior. Keep an eye on him as the draft gets closer.
Posluszny, MLB/OLB....One of the best "football players" I've seen in the last couple of years. I saw someone on this board say that he is not a 1st round talent. Clean off your glasses. He can play. Period. He has a nose for the ball, almost never overruns the play, stays in his gaps and is a selfless LB which is not a common commodity these days among NFL LBs. Might not have gaudy combine numbers, but he is a top 20 pick, make no mistake. Demeco Ryans fell because of his size, big mistake. He is a football player. Posluszny is better than Ryans and Hawk. He is special.
Tony Hunt, RB...Good mid round RB. He is strong, falls forward and keeps his pads low. Good 1 cut back. Not a starting NFL RB, but probably a good 3rd down back. Blocks very well, catches the ball and has a good motor. (I really like Michael Robinson as the Niners future consistant 3rd down back once his blocking gets better, but I thought I'd mention Hunt anyway)
And watch out for Dan Connor next year. He will stay for his senior season. He can be a really good one.

Don't forget LT Levi Brown. Solid player, may be moved to guard in the NFL.
On Tennessee's side, watch WR Robert Meachem, LT Arron Sears, DT/DE Turk McBride, CB Jonathan Wade, and S Jonathan Hefney (he's a little small for our defense though).

ive had my eye on Alford all year his size concerns me a little bit would he play DE for us?
Paul Poslusney ive heard good things and very bad things about i saw a play of him last year on the goaline that was sweet but people keep saying he has been mediocore this year and they would rather have Patrick Willis
Tony Hunt is a good prospect and a mid round pick i doubt we draft any RB this year unless Mo Hicks is gone

Alford would absolutely be a DE in the NFL, possibly lining up in a stand up DE position like Jason Taylor. He as the athleticism to drop back in coverage as well. I truly feel he will become a dominant player in the NFL.
People have been negative about Posluszny's play this year, especially early on. Some don't realize that he was learning a new position. The switch to MLB took some adjusting (I don't care what anyone says, MLB is a far different position from OLB). Now he has become more comfortable in his role and has established himself as not only a fantastic MLB, but a versitile one as well. He just has the "instinct" to play well in the NFL. He has what can't be taught.
Again, I don't see the Niners going after Hunt, but I do think he will be a very good 3rd down back for some NFL team. As long as the team that drafts him understands his limits and plays him accordingly.

Jay Alford is very fast on the line and would fit into a 3-4 defense nicely. I think Tony Hunt with todays performance has proved again he can pound the ball all game long on a defense especially in the 4th quarter. I think he can be a solid back in the NFL, hopefully he will go 1st-2nd round.

I would take Posluszny if he fell to us in the second round... he would be a steal there but I don't see us taking him unless we trade down for more picks
