Good business, Maj.
I was hoping for a 3rd for Sims, as he was the only player on the Raider offense this year that even belonged on the field, but 101 isn't too shaby.

That's debatable.
You came close at the start, but we never really came together and you seemed willing to give progressively less value as the negotiations went on.
Put another way, you were assigning ok value to Roth (but you used the word 'backup' a lot), but not necessarily to another person in the trade.
1-for-1 is easier, especially since Roth was still somewhat buried on Miami's depth chart. I think it works out for both. Miami really needed another pick, and Seattle gets a young talent at DE with their 3rd. Your problem was you were always asking for one other guy (not always the same one) I didnt want to part with.

Hopefully you got a two for one on the Astroglide cuz that one's gonna take more than one tube. An average corner for a first round (albeit cross-eyed) receiver, a decent safety, and a solid LB. Just wow.
So are we going to still go by "which team is most improved", or should we make it "first team with every roster spot a pro bowler under 25 wins".
Now I'm not saying there have been a lot of rapes in this draft, but KY's stock has gone up 300% in the first quarter of '07

And a TE is a QB's best friend...When Javon Walker and Ted Ginn Jr. AND Stallworth aren't open down field...
or Dom Davis out of the back field...(MAN, do i have weapons?!)

He played some guard in college, and DT. He's mostly just a space eater, but could become a good NT when he adds some weight. I prefer him to any NT I would get with the pick I gave up for him.

Values are approximate player for player deals with me will always net you greater returns. If you list a player in this thread as "on the block" and I pm you for the value dont reply to me "make an offer". You listed the player so you obviously have a value in mind i'd send an offer if the player is not listed as on the block. I do the same with my picks that are listed, I assume the replied value is only tentative and I will return an offer in kind if we are close. I wont however just make an offer because you put them on the block to fish.

Rape!
meh, I don't find this one that rapish. Joseph was a first but hasn't done much for the Giants. McQuarters' best days are behind him. Toomer is an ok #2 receiver. Basically just acquiring quality through volume.
I don't think either team really got taken here, but I'm dying to know the Giants master plan at WR, where they traded their 2nd and 3rd options.
EDIT: Maybe they should inquire about Samie Parker or Marty Booker, either of which could be had at the right price.

Im happy with my end. I got a solid 3/4 DE backup in Joseph, a solid backup CB in Mcquarters, a solid #3 WR in Toomer AND a 4th rd Pick.
If he's happy im happy. Good deal all around then. :hyper:

You're not.
I think Blade made out fine because he has the depth at corner to be able to afford this and got Woodson on the cheap, but it certainly is no rape. Or if it is, there is at least a reach around involved.

is that good or bad lol
You got the better end of that one. Ace much just be after picks. Wade rebounded to have a pretty solid year last year in TEN, and Odom (although an under-acheiver) still has potential. Having those two guys is probably better than what you'd get with the three picks you gave up.

As we wind down remember you'll need to have a maximum of 53 players on your roster when we finish.
That being said, my teams will be releasing some guys, so if you need to add a few players, I'll make some 2 for 1, 3 for 1 type trades. The players available aren't great, but may be better options than what you already have...take a look...
Oakland
RB/FB - ReShard Lee
WR - Carlos Francis
TE - Randal Williams
C/LS - Adam Treu
DT - Titus Adams
DT - Ross Kolodeij
S - Derek Gibson
S - Jarrod Cooper
Possibly CB - Tyrone Poole
New England
OL - Gene Mruczkowski
LB - Don Davis
LB - Eric Alexander
LB - Corey Mays
LB - Pierre Woods
CB - Gemara Williams
CB - Ray Mickens
S - Mel Mitchell
S - Rashad Baker
P - Josh Miller
P - Todd Sauerbrun
Possibly RB - Corey Dillon
