With Gaines Adams stock dropping if he gets past the Redskins and slips to the #9 position we trade up and get him. He can couple with Lawson to create a much more powerful pass rush and thus taking pressure off of the secondary. Although this could change if we get Briggs or Thomas in free agency.
Now if we get one of the OLB in free agency or Adams is not there I say we trade down to around pick #20. We can pick up a second and third round pick according to the value chart and can pick up Dwayne Bowe and adding a much needed receover for Alex Smith as well as picking up draft picks. Now with those draft picks added we trade a second and third/fourth whichever allows us to trade up to #25 and pick up Patrick Willis. As of now he seems to be falling this far and can help our linebacking group a lot. Although this pick may not happen due to McLoughan saying our ILB is set and if they decide this instead of Willis, we should grab Jarvis Moss or DeMarcus Tyler. I would prefer DeMarcus Tyler as he seems he could be a great NT but will just have to work on not overpursuing and rather taking on blockers.

Then we should trade our 11th pick for the Patriots 24 and 28th pick then get L Woodley in the 24th pick and get Dwayne Bowe in the 28th and just get the best defensive player available in with the 43rd pick :lightbulb: :ok:

I don't know why so many are high on Woodley. Gaines is a much better option but I do like the idea of trading with NE for two first rounders and getting Bowe although I think he is the second best receiver in the draft and would not be opposed at all to us taking him at #11. From what I have seen of him this week he is an excellent blocker and I think has improved his stock tremendously. Give me Bowe over Ginn or Jarrett anyday of the week if we were picking tomorrow.

I dont know about that dude...I personally don't think Gaines Adams will fall to us in the 1st and no way do we trade UP to get him..LaRon Landry will still be on the board and he is a very solid player...the dude's brother (Dawan Landry) is the starter on the Ravens (SS/FS)...LaRon is said to be MUCH better than Dawan...and if you look at Dawan Landry's Stats and Ed Reed's stats for this season...they are literally identical...At best LaRon will be an Ed Reed or a Brian Dawkins...at worst in my mind he will be a Roy Williams...now would you complain if we had any of them...LaRon Landry is the best pick at our position...after that I say Reggie Nelson or Ted Ginn...the guy is crazy...think about it...Corners need to respect his speed so he can just do cut back routes all day long...screen passes would work...the niners ran the reverse 80 **** times this year so he could be a HUGE threat in that...go to youtube and just search Ted Ginn Jr. and look at the first one and you'll kjnow what i mean...also i mean the guy just burn anyone so they'll have to use one of their safteys to double cover him possibly which opens up the middle of the field for Vernon Davis...now i am very aware that Ted Ginn is the type that could be a big bsut...but he also could be the next steve smith....i know you guys are just going to poo poo this part about Ted Ginn but i frankly dont care that much...

You are correct I hate the Ted Ginn pick. I think he is the most overrated player in this years draft. I will take Dwayne Bowe who will block and destory guys and open up more holes for Gore. He also has good hands and decent speed. The only thing that is the hype on Ginn is his speed. I would like our receivers to be hyped up on their route running or their hands and not just speed. Ok sure he can demand a safety over the top but he still will get covered and not be that big of a playmaker because his routes are not polished. I think Bowe is the second best receiver in this draft.

i have seen that of late and its just crazy. a guy that productive and ideal for a 3-4 and people project him out of the first round. i tend to disagree though.
I dont think its his stock dropping, it might just be other guys stocks going up. Also, underclassmen like jarvis moss and jamaal anderson might've pushed him down a bit.

Apparently he got injured at the senior bowl (may not play) and previous to the injury he was not playing very well.

Where do you get this information that Patrick Wiliis' stock is dropping? It's tough to say ANYONE's stock is dropping at this point. Only players who are performing poorly at the Senior Bowl and players who decided not to play in the Senior Bowl (Gaines and Landry) are the ones whose stock may be somewhat falling.
From what I've read/heard as of now, Willis has made an impression on the 49ers coaching staff and is looking solid in practice. Just because the popular mock drafts you see on the internet have Ginn and Jarrett going super high and Willis falling to the Colts doesn't make it so. I can GUARANTEE, barring an injury, that Willis will not fall to the Colts. I think he's a top 15 pick for sure.
