I loved this when I saw it. I only saw him in one game last year and that was when I was in a sportsbook in vegas when they played OK St. I have rarely seen a RB hit the whole so fast and be so quick in the trenches.....makes excellent decisions...my only problem with him is that he seems to get caught fro behind a lot in the video.

And also gets tackled by db's too often. Sorry, he is too slow for my taste. If you can't outrun db's in college you can't outrun lb's in the NFL. He is also running through holes the size of the US deficit. Does push the pile a bit though, reminds me of Ron Dayne.

Adrian Peterson looks nothing like Ron Dayne..... Dayne's like a poor man's bus, VW Vanogaon spewing blue smoke out the back..... I don't know if you saw the same video the rest of us did but this guys broke through the line like gangbusters and consistantly broke LB's tackles to get into secondary.... He scored on one occasion by breaking through a goal line D..... This guy looked like the second coming of Walter Payton or Jim Brown..... He makes DW look like a scat-back......

:madgal: P.s.- If this guy looks slow I'd hate to see what you'd say about Kevan Barlow!!!!!!

I don't know I'd rather have between he and Bush, but he makes a good case. I remember seeing him play as a Freshmen and I was already putting him head-to-head with Bush.

Buddy, I agree that he isen't a Ron Dayne, but in a conversation about running styles you can't compare him to both Sweetness and Big Brown. that'S just inconsistent

The point is Brown and Payton both ran over people. This guy accussed Peterson of being like Ron Dayne and saying in the same breath that he got tackled by defensive backs....That's inconsistant!!!

Slow? He'll likley run a high 4.3 - low 4.4 at the combine next year. Adrian Peterson is far from slow.

Do you think we will have a top 3 pick next year? He could go number 1 (him or Quinn)

Amazing back, but I'm still holding out hope that calvin johnson or sidney rice (a redshirt sophmore this year so he will be eligable next year) are coming out next year to be the first round pick.

The only knock on him is that he tends to be kind of soft when an injury is hampering him. He did play through an injury most of last year, but when it was fresh he really did not play well. Don't know how much his O-line affects him though. Anyone have any input on how good OU's line is and if it makes him what he is. Remember, OU always seems to have a decent back. Maybe they are kind of like Denver in the blocking schemes.????

Sorry, I just saw all of these clips of him being dragged down by college db's and assumed he was slow, I guess I didn't take into consideration his projected 40 time at next year's combine.:surrender:

AP's problems last season stems primarily from the loss of Jason White.

Peterson is a beast. He's my early Hesiman prediction for next year.
