He does not play for the Cowboys or an NFC team so I have no reason to hate him.

doesn't make sense at all. millions of people root for Peyton, he is easy to like. i mean there isn't a player in sports that doesn't have a few haters but to think Peyton could be any more likeable is just crazy.

Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I didn't write the thing, I just passed it on. But I do kind of take the point that Favre - for example - has a kind of everyman appeal that Manning doesn't.

If being a nerd makes you as good as Peyton, then I wish Alex Smith would crack an extra book or 2 open. Seriously though, who has a problem with Peyton? All I ever hear is how much they want Peyton to get this ring. The only people who dont want him to get this ring are Bear and Pat fans and those monday morning QBs who love talking about how Peyton can never win the big one. Thats the real reason anyone hates him, some people are so jeolous of him that all they can do is talk about how bad he is.
