I'm just saying that if you're the guy pushing for a 12 hour window because you don't want to be passed up while you're at school, you should be the first to think it would be ridiculous to expect people to pick between midnight and six in the morning.

All due respect Knobs but you're the only one who seems to have a problem with a 3 hour window so you can't have it both ways. If you're looking for a 12 hour window (which you were pushing for) then we'd get no more than 2 picks per day. Nothing personal but I'm just trying to figure out which camp you're in. Is it the "slow down" camp or the "hurry up" camp. Because up until this morning, I clearly thought you wanted this thing to slow down to accomodate your education (nothing wrong with that) but now you sound like exactly the opposite. I'm just confused is all...
anyone that has a real job that has to work a shift that is longer than a 3 hour ice cream shop job or a paper-route would completely agree that a 3 hour window is crazy. i said 12 hour was fine but didnt realize this thing would take 8 months that way so i agree to 6 hours with no window. i have been up every night since we agreed to that which has been the past 2 rounds so its hard to argue with the way we have been doing things.

The next post (11th on the first page or so) it wa specified we'd vote on 12 or 6 rather than 8 with no windows. No window was specified in my post so its implied that since G4life's post was after mine and he did not specify a window, that we voted for 6 hours no window.

I'm a fan of three hours but I totally understand the need for 6 because everyone is not in front of a computer at work like I am all day. But IN EITHER CASE, there should be a small window for sleep. You just can't put someone on the clock at midnight and pass them before they would logically wake up. So I'm conceding the three hours and saying my vote is for 6 hours and a midnight to six AM window. I think the original window that was suggested was too wide (something like 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM). But if we make it a 12:00 - 6:00 window, it allows people to either pick before they go to bed or wake up and pick. I have no problem with the spirit of moving it along, I just have a problem with the concept of being passed before you ever would have logically known you were on the clock.

In either case, I'm apparently coming off as much more upset than I am. I assure you that I'm not the least bit angry, I was just surprised this morning. Anyway, 6 hrs. between picks with the aforementioned six hour sleep window is my suggestion.

deadline for each pick is 6 hours and there is no window at night. we have 11 teams and here is the list:

i would love having 2 picks in a row. you cant really strategize as much and see your guy go if you project him wrong. if you want a guy you just draft him and dont take the risk knowing he probably wont be there when your pick comes back around anyways.

the difficulty is most people dont look at the whole rosters, and quite frankly....alot of people that will be voting dont know about many players in the nfl or go by hype and not actual play. i also dont see people reading through 11 rosters and judging all of them honestly, once they get to the 3rd or 4th roster they will have their mind made up. might be interesting but wont be too accurate IMO.
