View Full Version : Who will chance on Marcus Vick

No I don't like him but I'm betting that Denver uses their 3rd rounder to pick him up...they seem to like chancing his type of player, and they could risk a late 3rd on him with our 3rd to supplement any holes they have (which are few and far between with my limited understanding of the Broncos)


Any other bets?

I don't think he will be drafted, at best he will go in the 7th round. If I have to pick though..... maybe Chi or Clev.

Some team will waste a pick on him before the 7th. Remember Clarrett and DEN in 05? They made a HUGE reach and snagged him in round 3.

i dont see why denver would go with him when they have plummer at the helm... it seems to me that they are happy with what they have... and as stated earlier they have already made that type of mistake once... i agree that he would most likely go in the 7th round..

Best place he could hope to go to would be Atlanta. Learn from his brother how to be a pro (not that Mike is a great role model but professionally he is up to par) take 2 years back up his brother then get out on his own once he has demonstated he's no a total bust. That being said I see him going in rounds 5 or 6 to someone like Denver, Oakland, maybe even the Cardinals.

I'd rather see him get drafted by Edmonton... I don't see any reason why we need another Vick in the NFL.

Undrafted Free Agent/Camp Fodder..

Michael Vick is a WR/RB trying to play QB and like Kordell Stewart will soon find that his honeymoon is over if he doesn't start being a QB.

Marcus Vick seems to be more of a QB then a WR/RB trying to play QB but honestly if his name wasn't Vick would anyone even be having this discussion?

He's a great athlete but that alone does not make a starting NFL QB.
