- The deadline is 4 pm EST. The end of the business day on Thursday. No fax and recognition of receival from the league offices by that time and it will be official, BAL will have no ability to restrict LB Thomas past that point.

- This thread would be more plausible if you left Lewis out of it. BAL and no team needs to be under the cap until March 2nd and they'd likely wait and try and debate a plethora of restructures and releases. Otherwise it looks like they opted for Thomas over Lewis.
