Look i dont know if you guys mentioned him before, but I think he could really help us out. if we get Adalius and Donnie we can have Adalius-Donnie-Moore-Lawson that can be really good, plus he is a vet that can be a leader.

Only Manusky knows for sure.

With Manusky as our new DC I think the Donnie Edwards connection fits just as the Nolan-Singletary-Thomas connection fits. Great suggestion....

I have no problem with upgrading, i'll take him at the right price. Smith is still a capable LB with a good cast around him if we land Thomas.

Is he a FA? I don't think he is but if he is I would love to get him. He's undersized but always seems to be around the ball. He reminds me of Bruschi.

I'm not sold on Edwards, he's past his prime just like our very own Smith who is still getting paid starting money. I believe Nolan was pretty content with Moore starting in the 3-4 next year so bringing in Edwards to play ILB and have Smith getting 3 Mil(I think that's what his contract was) as a back up wouldn't be very cap effecient. I'm not saying he wouldn't be an improvement but another aging LB may not be the answer. If we don't get A. Thomas I'd expect to be 4-3 again next year unless Nolan pulls something out of his hat.

He does have great stats over the last few years, last years tackles was down a bit but I agree his numbers are there. He'll be 34 before the start of the season, that's where I'd say he's past his prime. Like I said he may be an improvement but the salary he would demand and of who we have on the roster already at ILB is the issue.

Well his contract was just voided today. Saw it on NFL live. He would be a MAJOR upgrade at ILB. Sorry I have no faith in Brich & D Smith.
