When I was on nfl.com and clicked the story about Baltimore not tagging Adalius Thomas, I noticed this...

Thomas is one of 10 Ravens who can become unrestricted free agents March 2. The others are: DT Aubrayo Franklin; DE Jarret Johnson; LB Tim Johnson; RBs Ovie Mughelli, Musa Smith and Nick Luchey; OT Tony Pashos; DB Gerome Sapp; and WR Alex Bannister.

He is listed at 6'1 320 on nfl.com. Possible NT solution if he hits the market?

From what I've read of his bio, at the right price, I would not mind adding him. I especially like that he is still young. But he would basically be doing a job we would otherwise probably draft a mid-late rounder for (run play NT), so I would not consider him a high priority.

POSITIVES: Good size for the position, young , came into the league as an unfinished product so still has untapped upside.

NEGATIVES: In 4 years, has not earned a starting role. Part of a Ravens d-line unit that was disappointing enough that they had to draft Ngata to keep Ray Lewis happy.

I wouldn't be surprised if we took a shot on him. He was drafted when Nolan was DC, and Nolan has shown an affinity for going after guys he knows, particularly when going to the bargain bin.
