Cody signed with Rhein Fire and will be throwing to 49er WR C J Brewer. That is good news now I will have someone to pull for in NFL Europe!

He didn't want to play there when the 49ers asked him to. I guess he realizes now that's a good way to gain experience.

I know he was released by the Texans on September 1st, but can't he still be on the practice squad?

No......

We haven't assigned anyone to next years Practice Squad yet and Pickett isn't one of our designated Europe players.

poor guy he never really had that much of a chance with us.. i wish him luck i know he's good and the texans wont regret making him the starter since carr is succeeding on being on the ground more than the air.. i mean being sacked

Actually I really didn't. I think you misunderstood. When I meant practice squad I was referring to the Houston Texans.


I should have said Texans instead of referring to the 49ers, but my reply to you was basically to answer your practice squad question.

No I think he should play with the 9ers again... I mien did you she how good his arm is?? It was awesome!! Maybe he is not the best, but he could be maybe he will lead them to the super bowl he is good. And he can do it.

If only Pickett would have went 2 NFLE a couple of years ago. He might still be a 49er.

Yep, instead he went against what the coaching staff asked him to, and he was traded to the texans, and subsequently cut.

Now he's going to be playing in NFLE anyway, execpt, he no longer has an NFL team.

Wow, Woods fell to the 5th round of the NFLE draft. That's a long ways from being a 1st rounder.
