Sign CB Nate Clements and WR Dante Stallworth in FA along with a NT to compete with Sapoaga (Hollis Thomas)

Draft SS Laron Landry in Round 1 who I think will be a huge impact player that can start right away.
Draft DE/OLB Anthony Spencer in Round 2 to fill the role that Andalius Thomas would have taken. Only he is much less expensive, much younger, and two of the top tackles in the draft have said he was the best player they faced this year.

I would rather have Adulius Thomas but if we aren't able to get him I wouldn't mind Anthony Spencer at all.

Also, although Landry can play SS he would play free safety if he came here which is where he is better suited.

Yeah, I was gonna add that to my post too. It would allow Lewis to CRUSH players, and have a ballhawk back there too. Sweeeeet.

At first I really liked what I saw in Spencer but after I watched some of the senior game practices I didn't like his conditioning. He seemed to be worn down a lot more then the others. It could just be me though. :thud:

We should draft Jay Moore to be a 3-4 DE. He's that other DE from Nebraska. If we waited to get him we could draft a NT in the first.

nice 1st rd pick! in the 2nd rd, i would rather get Lamar Woodley if he was around. I like the idea of signing Donte Stallworth, but dont know about signing Nate Clements because he would cost too much. instead of Clements, i would rather sign Adalius Thomas!

I have Spencer as a late 1st rounder and I think he projects well as a 4-3 DE or 3-4 OLB. The reason I think he projects to 3-4 OLB is that he has very good burst and is explosive off the edge. He also has good ability to change directions. A more likely pick in the 2nd round might be LaMarr Woodley.
