okay, before you guys shoot me for putting up another thread about another mock draft...I was looking at some updated mock drafts and came across a couple that look really interesting.

this one seems really weird. I don't agree with very many of these picks at all...actually, about the only one I agree with (2 actually) is Russell to the Raiders and CJ to the Bucs.

this one I actually like, except I still like Okoye at 11 instead of Carriker. Okoye can play all three spots on the D-line where Carriker is only set for the DE spots. The reason I say that Carriker is able to play all three is the fact that he is very strong and is only 19, he still has some growing to do and could put on some bulk very easily to move into the NT position. Everyone says that he is very raw, but he played 4 years of college ball, so he's got experience in the game and playing with BY will definitely make him much better, as will playing against LA in practice. Plus---it does the first 2 rounds instead of just one.

thoughts on which one is better and who you like more?

interesting... top says Detroit wants to move down... Would cost less if they want to actually move down rather than us just wanting to move up...

are you implying we should move up to 2? That would cost us our #11 and at the very least 2 3rd rounders. Not too shabby of an idea, but no one is worth taking unless you really think we'd take CJ. I'd rather just trade up into the 1st round again to really build up the Def.

If it only cost our 1st and 2 3rds(which we don't have anyway) and we didn't trade up, our FO is worse than a drunk Matt Millen. And yes, we'd take Calvin.

ok...just wondering what your mind set was...and I forgot we didn't have 2 3rds. My bad.

Well, we do have two 3rds, but only one is tradeable. One is comp. for Peterson, and we can't trade that.

that's what I meant by saying I forgot we don't have two thirds.

Both mocks have us picking Carriker and I think that would be the right choice. He can easily play any spot on the line with his size, 6-6 295, and he already has the size unlike Okoye.
