Very nice. I have a feeling Meriweather won't be there at 42 but what do I know. Overall best mock I have seen.

Too be honest I think Oakland goes with either Peterson or Calvin Johnson.

Overall good job.

Very possible, but similar to the situation we were in in '05, if you have the opportunity to pick your QB of the future, it's very hard to pass that up. Russell will have some talent around him, and the pick may motivate those guys. If OAK is able to bolster the OL, he may be worth the risk of starting as a rookie.

Great Mock Draft but I dont think Tank Tyler Falls that much......

I'm not really sold on him. I had him as a 2nd/3rd round prospect coming into the combine, and he put up impressive numbers...still a little concern for me though.

Yeah but you know the thing with Al Davis and drafting QB's...but on the other hand Russell has the cannon arm that fits that vertical offense, and he does seem like prototypical Raider player if you know what I mean.

As for Calvin Johnson, he is the guy who has all the measurables which could leave Al salivating. However, if I'm not mistaken Moss and Porter said they are returning so maybe that lessens the need for a WR.

And Peterson could be a nice pick. They don't have a good running game and Jordan isn't a very good starter. Adrian seems like a guy Al Davis would really like...

Maybe Joe Thomas? Even though O-line is a big need the whole Robert Gallery thing may scare them away.

I think they'll pass on Thomas for the 'sexier' pick, and get an OL in the second. They're re-working Sims' contract, and wisely so. He was the only OL-man they had worth a spit last year. Boothe and McQuistan still have time to develop.

i know you're not too fond of Marshawn Lynch, but I still thinks he goes to Green Bay in the 1st, not the sound. If not GB, maybe NYG in the 1st and at the latest, NYJ in the 2nd. No way the Jets pass on him and I can't see Lynch being the 3rd RB.

The supply for RBs is higher than demand. There are a few good ones on the market this year, and only a few teams looking for one. Once FA is over, teams will most likely be looking for their back-up/future back.

Hmm, not high on Harrell at all are you?

I think in your situation, Denver goes after the guy you had two picks later in Johnson, although I don't know what it does to your second round pick for them, maybe Irons.

I doubt Minnesota goes after Quinn, I think Miami ends up taking him at 9.

Good draft, I just see some things differently...:nana:

Actually, I really like Harrell. I had a hard time placing him.

It'll be tough for DEN to pass up a good OL-man with their aging group.

I think WAS trades their pick to a Quinn suitor, in which case, MIN could go with Meachem.

No flammage here!

Dallas pick: very plausible and ohhhh the irony of replacing/teaming up Williams and Nelson. Ya Jerry that will fix your coverage problems!

PS since you did the work I'll gladly copy your format for my mock!!!!!!!

I think that the Dolphins would select Alan Branch over Leon Hall, and I doubt the Falcons would take Revis that high.

Also, while I like him, I don't expect Meachem to be the 2nd receiver off the board.

Good mock.....only 2 picks I dont like.

GB wont go WR in the 1st. If they add a WR it'll be Moss or else they'll probably be content with Driver/Jennings/Ferguson which Favre makes look a lot than what it is. If anything, they could go TE with Olsen who I think you have going way too late.

I dont see Jamaal Anderson falling that much. Hes not as explosive as Adams but hes got the speed and finesse moves. He'll go no later than 13 to STL.......assuming they dont land a DE in FA.

team that might trade with WASH, miami dolphins who apparently like mr. quinn

Levi Brown at #5???

I think the cards would want him, but not that high. If they took him they would probably trade back a little. I see Brown more around 15 or so.

good mock, but I dont see Alan Branch, Jamaal Anderson, and Marshawn Lynch falling as far as you have them...but hey, I'm no draft expert

This was done before the release of Bryant and the before free agency started. I haven't finished my new one yet. I've only got round one up.

You might not like the new one then

I have the 1st round up, and will get round 2 up soon.

I have us missing out on Carriker to ATL, and Denver moving up to select Landry, so we draft my second choice: Robert Meachem. Brandon Mebane is ours in round 2.
