OLB Quincy Black

UNM's Quincy Black had himself an outstanding day at the Combine yesterday- ran a LB-leading 4.42 40, his vertical was 41 1/2, and a 10-4 broad jump (also led the LBs.)

My feeling on him is similar to what I felt about HB3 last year- this guy has solid potential to not just stick with a squad, but to eventually play quite a bit for somebody.

Not sure we'll be in the market for him on Day 2, but he'll be a solid pick-up.

6015 and 240. Yeah, he's a little on the short side, but he's a playmaker.

Like I said, I don't think he's somebody the Niners will look at, but somebody is going to love this choice.
