Well! In the first season I believe DeAngelo will sell good. Probably better than Reggie Bush because Reggie will play in an offense where both halfbacks will be splitted. In Carolina there is no one like Deuce McAllister who gets some reps, too.

Joseph Addai will see the most playing time at RB out of them all if he picks up the offense, he'll put up good recieving and rushing stats in that offense, depending on the offensive line.
Deangalo won't start unless Foster goes down, and even then would be splitting carries with Eric Shelton. I don't care for him at the next level and think he will bust, but that's just me.
A few guys not to sleep on:
Jerome Harrison (5th round pick out of WSU), Cleveland Browns:
New offensive line, and he'll probably see a decent amount of playing time if he picks up the offense fast enough. He's a much better reciever then Droughns, and creates a nice change of pace. He was a beast in college and has the measurables to be a beast in the NFL.
Jerious Norwood (3rd round pick out of Miss. State), Atlanta Falcons:
They don't appear to care for Duckett that much. He may not play that much, but with that team, this kid has great potential. He'll be like Warrick Dunn, except bigger and stronger once he gets the grasp of the offense.
Cedric Humes (7th round pick out of Va. Tech)
Chances are he doesn't really play much.. or even at all. But behind Parker, they have Deuce Staley, who's become injury prone and is ageing fast. Cedric can be the power back and get some nice stats in that offense if the oppurtunities presented.

Where's Lendale White?
Most likely stuffing his fat face. That or getting used to being the #3 RB behind Chris Brown, Travis Henry, and having Payton fight for the spot.

I'm going to say Joseph Addai.. they have an established o-line and a great offesne in Indy.. he isn't going to be the main threat against and defense, they'll be gameplanning heavily to stop manning -> Harrison/Wayne. In the long run though, Reggie Bush will be the best, he'll have the best career out of any of them, if the saints improve the o-line then they'll be a real threat.

DeAngelo Williams, easy. Maroney and Bush have to share the backfield, where as Williams will have a chance to be the #1 back, since foster is an injury concern. I wanted the niners to get williams with our second 1st round selection, but we passed on him for a more pressing team need. But I say DeAngelo Williams will be Offensive Rookie of The Year.

Wait a minute. If DeShaun Foster is truly healthy (and with the contract they just gave him, they must think he is), Williams will have stiff competition. I think Addai will get the most playing time.
They are saying it in a biased opinion, Deangalo has competition with last years second round pick Eric Shelton, DeShaun Foster, and even guys like Nick Goings.

It's a close decision between these guys.
Bush will make an impact on returns, and in the passing game.
Maroney will get time if Dillon can't stay healthy.
DeAngelo Williams will be behind injury prone Foster, so there's a good chance he'll see plenty of carries.
Joseph Addai will split time with Rhodes, but assuming all starting backs ahead of the others on this list are healthy, he'll see the most time. IMO, he is the back that will benifit most from a stand point of what his skill set is, and what team drafted him. He's very much like Edge, IMO, and once he catches on to blocking schemes, he'll be the most productive, statistically, of this year's RB class. This is who I voted for.
Maurice Drew will see the least amount of action. Let's put aside his legal issues, and just focus on football here. He's behind a star RB in Fred Taylor, and a very capable back-up Greg Jones. He'll play a role similar to Darren Sproles in SD...which is limited to returns, and perhaps a pass thrown his way once every three games, or so.
Brian Calhoun is kind of the sleeper of this class. Jones can't keep himself healthy, and was very productive as a split-time back with Suggs at VT. Jones is a big boy, but can move well, and Calhoun is a smaller, shifty guy. The two could be a good compliment to each other in DET. He'll need to beat out Bryson and Pinner for time, but could do so, and be decent.

I'm inclined toward Maroney, more as a gut choice than anything else. Something tells me Dillon is going to go the way of Stephen Davis this year, and Maroney will pick things up toward the end of the year and be talked about as the future focus of the Patriots' running game.
If Foster can't come back from injury, though, Williams has to be the pick. Carolina's got the weapons to make it happen.
Bush is a wildcard but the same gut that tells me Maroney will be the man also tells me that Bush will get injured or something else will happen to keep him from really shining this year. The Saints are, after all, truly cursed.

I'm surprised Maroney didn't get more votes. I think that Dillon is definitely on his way out and should retire within the next 2 or 3 years. Williams should do well when he does carry, but the Panthers have stated a few times that they're still confident in Foster and that he is the #1 guy there. Bush will no doubt have an impact, but as was mentioned earlier his playing time will be split much in the same way it was at USC with LenDale White. It's a matter of opinion, but Laurence Maroney was at the top of many boards as the best running back in the draft. Regardless of whether or not that is true, he was a heck of a steal getting him where the Patriots did.

First of all, are you eight?
You cannot even correctly spell rookie. It's DeAngelo Williams.. and at this point I'm pretty sure he is the number three runningback. He won't have that good of a season, mostly because he won't even touch the ball that much. Do you guys know how pathetic Carolinas offensive line is? Guess not.
Nikko, when you start a paragraph with 'First of all' it usually implies that there will be a 'second of all'. Use your brain.

I am going to say Laurence Maroney. Bill Belichick’s philosophy is to get everyone on the team involved. Nobody who he can work in sits and I think he has plans for this kid.

Joseph Addai has a lot of weight on his shoulders. He has to replace Edgerrin James and has to allow Manning and Harrison to do what they do. If he underperforms, Manning and Harrision will be facing 6-7 DB's every play.

Addai, Indys offense is killer which will allow him to play without the focus of the entire defense. I also believe he'll be taking most the carries from rhodes, probably around a 80/20 split.

Travis Henry is a non issue for the Titans, and fragile Chris Brown will be on the sidelines more then the waterboy...LenDale White is a good back, has more personal issues but if he can keep those in check, the Titans will have made a great pickup for cheap with this one.
