Shoot!! I'd go JD, but the one in Santa Clara that the 49ers do is pretty cool. Sorry brotha.. But hey if you can round up the Faithful in SacTown. That would be great. There's too much Raider crap in that town anyways.

Yeah, even the Sac Bee is a Raiders puppet.

Well I live in Stockton, if you can make it here, I can drive the rest of the way...
Let's see if there are some other folks in the Sactown area that can help you out with a ride...
JDinSactown

Yeah I can drive and all, but if I don't have to, I won't, ya know? haha.

So, has anyone's plans changed? Anyone interested in having a draft party here in Sacto?

I might just give my draft party tickets to someone else and help get a cool party going here in the Sacramento area if enough people are interested in making it happen. There are hundreds of 49er fans who live in the Sacramento area who should start getting together for some 49er Faithful fun this year.
Let me look into this a little bit and see what might be shaking out there.

That's cool I live in Rocklin and work in Sacramento as well. If there is a draft party going on around here let me know. I usually just watch it at my house because my friends aren't really that into the draft.

I’m in.
If we are going to do this we are going to have to do it up right. I won’t have it go down any other way if I’m going to give up my tix to the 49er’s draft party.
First we need to decide where we are going to do it and how we are going to do it.
We could do it at a local sports bar, someone’s home or at a park. Unless someone volunteers to host this thing I will assume we will have this at a sports bar or at a park.
If we want to do this at a park I will need check into the special permits that we might need. Trust me, parks take planning too.
If we are going to do this at a sports bar or restaurant we will need something with enough screens tuned into what most will consider boring draft action, that will take some planning as well but I know of a few cool places in the area where that probably wont be a problem. I don’t claim to know them all but I know a few very cool places in the area.
What do you all want? Outdoors with satellite TV and all the trimmings like a 49er tailgate party or a sports bar where you don’t have to cook or bring anything but an attitude and wear your favorite 49er jersey?

I watched the super bowl at Strikes in Rocklin. Huge big screens, good food, a 50 lane bowling alley.
I bet you we could reserve some tables there.

I say a bar....Strikes sounds good. But, im just one person. What do you all think?

Yeah. If we can get an idea how many people I can reserve the tables at Strikes. I will call them tomorrow and see if there is a minimum to reserve. There was for the Super Bowl, but I doubt it for the draft.
April 28th right?

Well I wouldn't mind attending the party in Sac. I actually wanted to go to the one Santa Clara but I have no tickets and have no idea where to get some. But if I can't get a hold of some tickets to Santa Clara i'll go. But I don't know about a bar because I'm 19.
Anybody know where I can get tickets to the Santa Clara party?

Well this is a sports bar attached to a bowling alley. It is cool if you are 19, for 25 bucks I will buy you a pitcher of beer! HAHA Just kidding.

I left a message for the manager at Coach's restaurant which is at Strikes Bowling in Rocklin. www.strikesbowling.com.

Do the Raiders own Sacramento? If you read the Sac Bee you would think they do.
Are there enough 49er fans in the Sacramento area to make some noise on draft day? I know you are out there. Join us and let us send a message to this area that the days of Raider dominance in this area are over.
Go to a local store and compare the Raider crap that is for sale to the 49er stuff that is for sale and tell me it doesn't tick you off! Now you can do something about it.
Join us on draft day, have a great time with other 49er fans in your area and make a difference in the cruddy sports teams lineup your local store carries. Trust me, it will make a huge difference in what the dill weed managers stock their racks with and what the Sac Bee writes about if we join forces and let our voices be heard.
Let us take back what once belonged to the 49ers and has been recently overrun by the Raiders. Let us return the State Capitol to the 49ers by coming together and making some 49er noise again.
Sacramento belongs to us and it is high time we sent a shout out to remind everyone of that fact.

I am a sportswriter for two local papers in the area, the Elk Grove Citizen, and the Sacramento Union. I will spread the word and get something in print.

So where in general are you guys planning to have a 9er draft day part? I live in south sac (Elk Grove) and I could probably make it. I can even ask my friend and his dad if they want to tag along because their planning their own lil draft party.
And I here ya guys about the raider shet in SaC. Basically most of the people that I see around my neighborhood or anywhere in Sac for that matter like the raiders because they think their "HARD." Atleast that is basically the only response I get from these wannabe Gs. I can basically just laugh at their face because I dont know how a team that won 2 measly little games are "hard" LOL :falldownlaugh:
Because most of em try to act like there Norte or Soreno. Which is hysterical.

So, Jerm, Badass, can I add you to the list of those who would like to attend? And Badass, the party will be in Rocklin more than likely, taking place at the Strikes bowling alley/Bar. I can give a ride to three people if they are in need.

It looks like I am going to miss the Sacramento party for reasons I can't explain on here but I will do everything I can to support those that want to make it to the draft party in Santa Clara by helping them find a ride and if this Sacramento draft party still happens, I’ll do what I can to support it through other means.
