I'm not a draftologist so I can't comment on other teams needs, wants and holes. So I'll take your word for it.

I do however disagree with Wimbley @ #22 for the Niners with Chad Greenway still on the board. Less questions and more of a guaranteed pick, if there is such a thing in the draft.

I just don't see Nolan and Co. passing on Greenway to grab a project like Wimbley.

Problem with Greenway is that he may be the best coverage LB in the draft but isnt a very good pass rusher which is our biggest weakness right now.

Greenway in a 3-4 is a little scary to me cause he reminds some of Julian Peterson.

Being like JP is scary? I would welcome that as a good thing.

biggest problem i see is McNeil going before Winston

Unless McNeill was the one who tested positive, he will be drafted well ahead of Winston. McNeill is a monster, and never gave up a sack during his 4 years at Auburn. Winston is still a project IMO.

Winston would proably make a better RT.

Do you mean he'd be a better RT than LT?

Or, do you mean he'd be a better RT than McNeill?

Cause I disagree with the latter.

I meant he would be a better RT than he would an LT in the NFL. Atleast thats what I think.

I would much rather get Wimbley than Greenway. Greenway may be a solid all around playmaker, but we don't just need an OLB, we need one who can be an elite pass rusher, and that's basically Lawson or Wimbley.

However, I'm not at all sure Wimbley will be there at our pick. Personally I think he may go before Lawson.

Also, you have Ernie Sims going pretty high. From what I hear, teams are very concerned about his concussion history and he should slide.

I wasnt aware of his concussion problems. He has too much potential to not go top 15 IMO.

The concussion stuff I heard on the NFL network yesterday. Apparently it's something like 4 or 5 concussions in the last couple of years, which would certainly be cause for concern.

Too bad we couldnt land Wimbley at 22.

Sorry for the bump but its fun to look back on these things.
