Nice to see they rated several of the rookies 72+ or higher, in fact Vickiel Vaughn is the only one under 70.

Give me 2 seasons with Alex Smith and he'll be a 90+ rating, after a couple training camps, pre-seasons and full seasons.

Looks like I'll be working my running game alot to improve those O-Line ratings also. That will take some pressure of Smith's low rating too. Short passes and power running and I'll have the offense hittin on all cylinders by Week 3. :cowboy:

Newberry 86 They lowered him too much.. but it makes sense because of the injury
Jennings 78?? He's way better
Harris 78?? Hate to say it.. but he's worse.
Heitman 78.. is a little better.. at least an 82 or 83
Smiley 73. Said to be a pro bowler one day.. and gets a 73

just so people know, those aren't the offical ratings. Those are just the ratings the makers of the site gave the players.

How do u know that? I hope those arnt the official 1s. Alex rating is horrible, I might have 2 edit his ratings or creat, sign or trade 4 a QB. 75 in accuracy is horrible. I can't throw with that *****. I like spencers rating. I hate sopoagas rating...65? What the fuc! And they didn't even have the rookies skill ratings, just there overall rating. I was lookin 4ward seeing VDs speed. But ****, how is our 6th rnd pick this year the same rating as our 1st rnd pick last year? Madden makers suck. Make it more realistic and accurate.

If you still dont believe me, check out madden message boards. If these were the offical ones, wouldn't those be on fire with people disputing them?

Those ratings are not accurate, but Alex will only be about 74-77 overall. I always have to fix TONS, probably 100's of players ratings though. Madden is horribly off with ratings. You see 4.3 guys who play amazingly fast getting put at 88 speed -- Which is the same as guys who usually run about 4.55's.

Spencer is an 86? Hey, Spencer is showing a lot of promise and may end up being very good in this league. But 90 is where you start hittin' the "elite" level. I fully disagree with the Spencer rating. And for the record, the Seahawks corner Jordan Babineaux got an 86 as well which is an utter joke. The dude is our number 4 corner. 86? C'mon!

I briefly looked over some of the attributes...

Gore has a 84 speed rating, kinda disappointing. He had a 89 in '06.

Our second best CB is Sammy Davis.

Brandon Moore got a favorable rating (80 something). But all of our LBs speed is in the 70's (Except Lawson). So that kinda sucks. Last year they had Julius Peppers with an 88 speed rating. That's faster than A.Plummer (87)!

I know these aren't the "Official" stats, but I'm hoping they make everything more accurate this year.

Probably cause there are plus minus numbers next to the guys they changed themselves.

madden rosters and ratings have yet to be released (checked on maddennation.com)

NCAA normally releases their ratings before madden does and i haven't even seen theirs released

Yeah, there have been plenty of ratings released that either claim to be official, or do not mention that they aren't official, and fans get the wrong idea. I think Madden still has another month, maybe a bit more until they release theirs. Last year I think it was about a month before the release?

I like the predictions.. the rating are exactly where I'd put everyone.. except I'd have gore instead of barlow and he'd be rated 84 as well. Also Mike Adams over Chad Williams. but would also be rated 80. I know you said both of them could start, so pretty good predictions all together.

Even coming off the injury i think Parrish is n the low 90's

Williams i dont think will be rated that hihg.. i give him a 76 maybe. (and i dont see him starting..)

LAwson gets no higher than a 80 in my opinion..

I still see Smiley over Baas... I like Baas more but dnt hink he'll start.

Newb will be in he 90's easily i think. when not injured one of top C's in the league and i dnt think they account how good his knees are in Madden so easy 90's.

I think its a little high for Corey SMith i think.. 1st year playing OLB... 1st year getting significant time.. 75. (w/ haralson at a 72)

I agree with everyone above, except Johnson (TE) at 89. Wasn't there an update where he went from 76 to like 90? Otherwise, I'd say those are all about right.

Although I think Spencer is IRL an 84 overall, the game will probably make him around an 80.

Barlow and Gore will split carries and Robinson will be our 3rd down back. I dunno what role Hicks will play, I think he might get cut or pushed down to the practice squad(I hope he doesn't get cut but I like Robinson over em). I think Madden will have Barlow(84) as our starting back ahead on gore(83). Your prob right about Smiley(84) starting over Baas(82), but I've just always liked Baas and I think he will be a stud. I just don't like Smiley's size(6'3 305) but he's a good RG who could be an All-Pro as well.

They won't really know what the depth chart looks like anyway. That is really never set in stone until after preseason. That is why you need to download the updates online.

Smith is too good in your ratings, Barlow is a tad high, and Sopo is a tad high as well.

Really good overall though.
