I think so. I'm gonna go out on a limb and pick this guy in the late round if he's still there. As my third option quarterback. Since we play with two starting. I think he'll get at least 3,200 yards, 22 TD's with only around 10 picks. You think he's a sleeper too? Or will he crash and burn?

I dont see him consistant, He'll get you a game or two with 3-4 TD's but he doesnt have the WR core he had when he blew up the league those 4 games 2 years ago. If he's there in the last round I may take a flyer on him but I wouldnt put too much stock in it they'll be a running team this year if Mcnair is gone.

I do like Drew Bennett. David Givens is another good option, he's a definite upgrade over the rookies they used last year (Courtney Roby, Brandon Jones, and Roydell Williams). Calico is another one that has potential, if he can stay healthy. They have outstanding TEs (Ben Troupe and Erron Kinney). But you're right 2 years ago they had D. Mason, who has been one of the most consistant WRs in the league.

I like Tennessee's weapons though. They have nice red zone potential. Volek could be a steal especially in the early part of the season. But you never know what might happen by mid-season it could be the Vince Young show. The coaching staff could choose to throw Vince in the fire, like we did with A. Smith last year to get some needed experience. Especially if the Titans start losing early on, then we'll see some V. Young for sure.

But with that said, I think he'd be a great sleeper pick! Late rounds you look for potential, Volek has it! I've heard rumors that McNair is still a possibility to stay in Tennessee, but I expect him to be gone.

Tennessee is a team that I think may struggle this year. They should be playing many games from behind sort of like the AZ Cards last year. This could mean lots of passing stats in meaningless situations.

Another one I'm looking at is Jon Kitna. I think he could do some good things in Detroit.

David Carr too. Moulds and A Johnson and pass catching Dominick.

How about Brunell?

Once I've filled my starting QB, RBs WRs and TE spots I might start looking at Culpepper who might be a good one to have for the late season playoff push! But I know somebody in my league will choose this guy too early...

How about Phillip Rivers? He has the weapons... He could be worth a flyer too.

New Rumor is Collins might be added to TEN roster if McNair is traded. IF this happens, Billy V has no FF value.

Exactly. In 2004 he played in 10 games, 8 of which is started, and threw for 18 touchdowns and 10 inteceptions. So 22 isn't out of the question. Especially if Chris Brown stays healthy. He's a good running back that would take a lot of pressure of Volek.
Mason, McCarins, Bennett, George, Brown, Wycheck, is a far upgraded cast compared to Bennett, Givens, Calico, Brown-Henry-White, Kinney and Troupe IMO not to mention the sub par O-line they have now.

Instead of looking at Volek, I'm looking at Bennett to draft. Bennett's moved up my chart for sure.

He's a good redzone target. Check out this exerpt from Yahoo.

------------------------------
Recommendation: Volek taking over as starter could mean big things for Bennett. When McNair struggled with injuries in the 2004 season, Volek stepped in and he and Bennett were a fantasy gold mine, linking up for 38 receptions, 741 yards and 10 TDs in six and a half games.
---------------------------------

I'm not sure Drew Bennett will light it up like in 2004. But I am expecting him to be the top target and #1 receiving option in Tennessee. He could be of good value in the mid/later rounds of your draft.

Check your year to year rosters. Justin McCareins and Frank Wycheck were not on the 2004 Tennessee Titans. Neither was Eddie George. So basically it was Chris Brown, Derrick Mason, Drew Bennett, Ben Troupe, and Erron Kinney. The only person they don't have out of that group is Derrick Mason. Who isn't that big of a difference maker anyways, as Drew Bennett himself lead the team with his reception yards himself back when Volek was shining. It's not their offensive line got any worse. They obtained Kevin Mawae, who I'd take in a second over Justin Hartwig. I think that's who it was.
AYYYYYYY I was looking at the 03 roster which really doesnt prove a thing!

I wouldn't draft him as a number two. Not a chance. Their offense still overall isn't very good. Not to mention the most important thing that always seems to be an issue with Drew Bennett: injuries. I may draft him as my number three if he's available, but I'm sure there would be someone better for me to draft at the time, since I got Donald Driver as my number three in last year's draft.

I hear you. Drew would be a solid number 3. I had Donald Driver last year too. He came through especially with Javon going down. He was the only option in GB. Driver's gonna go early this year, maybe late 3rd round.

In a 12 team league, Bennett will be picked as someone's 3rd wr, he's about the 30th ranked wr on some of the recent ADP (Average Draft position) cheat sheets I've seen.
