Just to clarify, these are just the legal wrap-ups to previously-known issues, not anything new that has happened recently.

Well, you have to keep in mind that with the amazing frequency that Bengals players get into trouble, to make a thread titled "Bengals at it again" could imply that they have indeed gotten into a new situation.

... which ultimately means you provided false hope to those looking for a new reason to rip on the Bungles. :madgal:

Aren't the Bengals interested in signing Antonio Brytant?

Yeah, he'd fill in during the weeks in which Henry gets suspended, so they can ensure that each week the WR corp would have at least one person who has had brushes with the law.

I'm surprised the Bengals haven't brought in Lawrence Phillips as RB coach.

They're holding out hope they can somehow get one of their own, Stanley Wilson, to be the RBs coach.

If not, they probably would turn to Bam Morris first, since he's more qualified than Phillips.

If I'm not mistaken, these are both follow-up court appearances for the arrests both of these guys had (both reported already) during the season.

Making it kinda weak to claim they are "at it again". Kinda hard not to be "at it again" when all you're doing is making a court appearance for your original incident.

Cincinnati suspends football player for lying
Associated Press

CINCINNATI (AP) - A football player was suspended for the first three games of the 2007 season for lying to officials investigating a claim that players and recruits engaged in sexual activities with a former women's soccer player at a party, the University of Cincinnati said Friday.

The player, whose identity was not released, at first denied then later admitted having consensual sex with someone and provided conflicting explanations about what else may have occurred that night — a violation of the student code of conduct, the school said.

Thank you for repeating what I've basically already said. :)
