How far do you think we could trade up by giving up our 1st rd and OUR 3rd rd pick. If it looks like Branch is going to get taken before 11 then we need to trade up and get him. He will make our D run like a 34 D is supposed to.

No need to trade up, if he's gone just take Carriker. He is a perfect fit to play DE in the 34.

he is not even an average pass rusher he had 2 sacks last year so how is he a solid pass rusher? also he has been knocked for being lazy and stamina and weight are issues with him as well as technique

those are reasons he could fall and why we may pass on him

Branch will be this years draft dropper. He'll be there at 11, 12 ,13 and beyond. Dont let size fool you he IS NOT ready for the NFL, he is a couple year project.
Maj believes he is lazy from the video, i believe he has a poor work ethic and is quite out of shape (cant quite buy into him being lazy), either way the same result happens. Teams picking that early want a player they can stick in right away, not one that sits behind the current starters trying to learn to be an effective technician. I think branch will be a gret player but he is far too unpolished and does not demonstrait the qualities Nolan seems to favor.
