Why would you trade all those picks for a NON-Starting SAFTY????????????????????????????????

You guys realize I used a trade value chart right? So I'm going to assume you guys are just biased against Weddle... he would start for us within a year or so, I don't even know why I bother trying to explain this stuff.

First of all calm down. Second... all those picks? It's a 3rd, a 4th, and a 6th to get back into the mid 2nd, that's how much it would cost.

What's the problem?

I like Weddle but I wouldnt want to loose 3 draft picks for him.

You're that concerned with a 6th round pick?

yup.......

Why?

Pretty good.

I liked Booker in college, but I don't think he's worth a 4th rounder to us. I'd rather we drafted a back that can play every snap, in case of the worst.

Also, I think Waters is going to go higher than even I expect (I have him as our 3rd round comp pick).

The DE/WR combo is my favorite for our first two picks...whichever way it works out best.

Weddle could possibly beat out Roman at some point this season...at least by next year he would be the starter. Plus, he's athletic enough to sneak him onto the field in some obscure defensive packages, and even as a RB in some cases.

Thank you. Finally some good, constructive criticism.

I was thinking Booker could be a 3rd down/change of pace type back, but now that you mention it I'd rather have a more complete back, as you said. Maybe someone like Kolby Smith?

Nice mock.

I wish the first 2 picks come true. It would be great to have Carriker and Rice on the team

It was okay the only thing I didnt like was that trade.......

I know, I'm just having a hard time understanding why you don't like it that much... and you weren't really throwing out any ideas on how I could make it better. So, I'll ask... in your opinion how could I make the trade better, or what could I do differently?

Thanks.

Yeah, it would be pretty awesome. I wouldn't mind getting Meachem in the 1st and Harrell in the 2nd either.

I like it.

Im not a fan of Carriker in the 1st but if we landed Rice in the 2nd then I'd be more than fine with Carriker.

I like Weddle, but I want Blades or Harris in the 2nd although Waters isnt a bad pick.

Solid player choices. I don't think we would package picks to go up and get Rice or Weddle though, although I could be wrong.

I hope you're joking.

Carriker is really nothing like Wistrom, I think the only thing they have in common is that they both played college ball at Nebraska.

And, they're both white. :rolleyes2:

BTW, Wistrom was a very solid player for a long time. He's older and slower now, but he put in 10 solid years, I'd hardly call that a bust. Somehow, I get the feeling ForeverYoung is a young and inexperienced fan...I'll leave him alone.

Young and inexperienced? Hardly.... Wistrom was solid with STL because teams were double teaming Leonard Little all the time. Sorry not a fan of his nor will i be of Carriker.... Quote me now if youd like Carriker WILL be a bust!

A guy who plays "solid" is not a bust when he does it for 10 years. He also got a pretty healthy contract from Seattle for a guy who can't play the game.
