I miss my weekend drives down to the stick (aka the Monster) to watch the game and enjoy my section 11 buddies' company.

I can't wait til August....

Anyone agree?

Ya, there is so much pessimism throughout the offseason. I can't wait til the first game which is supposedly going to be against the Saints at home. Which will be awesome.

i agree.. there needs to be a football minor league..... NFL EUROPE DOESN'T COUNT!!.. i miss the demons..

I think we all hate the offseason... especially the offseason message board.. just full of garbage.

The offseason is actually almost more exciting to me than the regular season...almost. But, yeah, the boards go to crap during this time. It seems we have more n00bs/bandwagoners this year than any other year I've been on...DecentOne needs to work some OT around here.

at least you have season tickets. wish i did. i'm lucky to make one game a year. this past season i got to at least go to the game where we hosted the raiders... that was probably the best game i've been to in a LONG time.


i do agree with maj though that the offseason is still pretty exciting. i like keeping an eye on draft prospects and the free agent market. i'm kinda new around here though, so i hope i'm not considered an annoying noob, or worse, a bandwagoner. oh well...

i can't wait until august either!!!

At least you can go to games. My dads in the army, so we live everywhere but San Fran. I've never seen a game in person. :( :hide: I just hope that once we're in Louisiana, we can drive out to Atlanta.

And what makes you think that the 1st game will be against the Saints at home?

BTW, I'm Lower Box 7 seats 5 & 6 in row D and seats 7, 8, & 9 in row E!

Just Go Out To The Worouts During The Week! I Went And Waited In Front Of The Headquarters For About A Hour Today! Took A Pic With Marques Douglas, And Isaac Sopoaga. I Also Met Aubrayo Franklin And Arnaz Battle. They Were Just There On There Own Time Getting An Extra Workout!

This actually has been my best off-season. I never participated in this or anyother message board before. Therefore I never knew anything about why we drafted certain players, our needs, the cap, contract, free agency and the thousands of other things discussed here. I've learned alot and can't wait to see how all of this pans out during the season. Who knows, it might even help the betting out in Vegas...;)

i thought about doing that... got any more info? was it just a lot of standing around and waiting, or do you actually get to watch them working out?

I Went Out There At 11:30 And Just Waited But You Can't Actually Watch Them Workout. Ill Be There On Friday At About 10 Hoping To Catch Nate Clements Or Michael Lewis!!!!

You know what, i just heard it from a friend, so honestly i can't say if it is true or not but he seems to be a reliable source, so hopefully he is telling me the truth.

Also..... Why would i lie about it? Just wondering :smile:

I just recently started posting on here again, but I have to say I am enjoying the correspondence a little more this time around. I was a member of the original MB, before the new website, back around 2002-2003, I think. It was a lot more volatile, at least from my POV, must have been because we were so bad, and there was no escaping the negativity. It has been much more fun to post my opinion and share my perspective this time around. Peace!

Same here.. I'm dying to drive out there to the games... Well we have the Draft coming up. Then the OTA's in May. Family Day at Monster Park hopefully in June and Training camp in July.. So that should help the time go by quicker...

I've been trying to find out the Sabercat schedule on FSN to ease the fix, but even the AFL can't help.

Someone else mentioned Madden, hahaha, that does help some, I just beat the Chiefs in the SuperBowl with my Tim Rattay 2005 squad.

I can conquer!!... word a day calender.. LOL! but seriuosly i hate the offseason to.. I miss towards wake up early drive to the stick with me and my buds.. and just sit in the nose bleeds and mock and shout at the opponents like i did at last years seahags game. dont give me wrong sharks hockey and giants baseball for me is cool but they never lift my spirit as high as 49ERS FOOTBALL!! see yall august and probably next month at the DRAFT PARTY!!! YEAHH!!!!!
