I presume Mike wore his hair in the mode of the day. Same as kids do right now. The two times are not the same, so quit picking on a guy's hair-do of a different era than your own.

There was a time when guys actually got their hair CURLED--as acceptable by the style of their day.

So what? Nowadays, how many dudes get their heads shaved--all for the sake of style? There were times when fellows got crew-cuts. They wouldn't do that now, but then it was just part of being in fashion.

Then there was the era of the sideburns. You don't see those much today, but there was a time...

It's not that I think his hair is bad, there are people today that have that hair. It's just that I thought of him as more strait-cut. He didn't look like the coach we have now that wants to wear a suit to a football game, that's all.

My head is shaved because it's easy to manage and cheaper. you only have to buy shaving cream and a razor like once every other month for like $5. have to get a haircut like every 3 weeks for $8!
