Well I think Manny was the steal of the draft last year. I personally feel he is as good as Mario, hes as fast and He is better in coverage. For this year Brandon Meriweather might slip to the second round and P Posluszny is the one LB I pray slips by NYG and Baltimore in the first and we get in the second. Those guys are obvious picks but if the draft gets funny with Russel not going first alot could happen.

Whoever gets HB Blades is getting a top 20 talent in Rd 2/3 IMO. I also like Brandon Myles in the 5th as a sleeper as well as CB/FS Courtney Brown.

So many. This will be a good year to find talent in the 3rd - 5th rounds.

i have to give a nod to Baraka Atkins also. Also Buster Davis of FSU.
undersized at about 5'9 for an Inside Linebacker. If he gets put in the right system. He should be a tackling machine. I hate FSU but I watched him play 3 games and the dude can just flat out make plays. Reminds me of Lofa Tatupu.

Jason Hill has the size and all the WR skills a team would want. He also ran a 4.32 at the combines.

Problem is he's still getting downgraded because of his supposed lack of speed. Most of the draft magazines erroneously list his forty time at 4.55 or even 4.6. I doubt the truth about Hill's speed will sink in by Draft Day.

He's a hard one to judge. I think teams will have him all over the place on their different boards. 4th-5th round is where I'd expect to see him go, but someone may take him with a late 3rd.

Yep Smith is a good one. He's got everything except for height. And with his athleticism, he can make up for the hieght issue. Wouldn't mind the Niners picking him up for insurance. He shows good field vision, has a strong arm and can also throw with touch.

Michael Bush could be a steal if he falls into the 3rd. Could be an excellent pick for us if he were available at our pick in the 3rd round.

Posluszny reminds me of Dave Wilcox. IF he slips to #11 and Willis, Adams, are gone then I say we take him with #11. He will not last until our 2nd round pick. I believe he is that good and will get better.:francis:

I think it will be Patrick Willis, He will make the most imediate impact to a deffense. Some people are over looking just how explosive this guy is and have him going as late as 15 now. He is my guy!;)

Brandon Jackson when Denver picks him up in the 3rd round and Henry gets hurt. Jackson 1400 yards rookie of the year.

Majesstik, no mention of Kenny Irons. Where do you project that he will go? I would like to pick him up in the third if he is there.

Manny was the steal of the draft? Hmmm...I think I'd go with Marques Colston.

I could see him going to TEN or NYG in the second, maybe even DEN.

If he slips into the third round, teams like DET and HOU will probably take him before we could.

He's one of my sleepers, but if I mention him, I get called a homer

Agreed. The guy could've been a top 50 pick last season had he come out and he chose to play another year. Unfortunately he tore an ACL and missed the season. Coming off the ACL, his stock has dropped even though it should have little impact on him. He has tested out well given the circumstances and he's a very well built ILB package. Combine that with a scuffle in a bar and some teams are scared of his character. A bar fight is a lot different from other situations, all it takes is one drunk ***** and being in the wrong place but well known. It's not as easy to call a lapse in character like concealed weapons charges, drunk driving, or assaulting a woman.

In short, he's carrying a mid 3rd value at the moment. Like some players in recent history, he shouldn't slip past the 4th round. He has legitimate late 1st round talent but injury and circumstance have him down almost 2 full rounds. In the early 4th he becomes a managable risk like most players like him usually are, where in recent years guys like Weathersby and Watson were two guys in a similar mold. Personally I think it's a great chance to get a late 1st/early 2nd ILB with only a 3rd rounder and he could be a huge value.

LB Quincy Black
RB Michael Bush
WR Laurent Robinson
CB Jonathan Wade
also lookout for Lorenzo Booker

Biggest impact as rookie- Anthony Spencer as a 3-4 OLB could get some big sack numbers with the Ravens or Patriots or another descent team.

I feel that HB Blades will be the best LB from this class. Hes a seek and destroy guy who can take on blockers and hits like a brick wall. Whats there not to love?

** if he even gets drafted RB Gary Russell** SPlit time with Maroney at Minnesota and was a great combination. He didnt enroll in enough classes and was let go from the team, but was a pretty good back.
