sorry to make a new post about another wideout, but nothing really stands out to me about this guy..i honestly didnt get to see him much during the season, and he seems to be able to make some good highlight reel catches but does he look really skinny to anyone? hes barely 200 lbs and hes 6'3" which isnt that bad but he doesnt look liek the big powerful receiver we want. from highlights it appears he can catch, but he doesnt appear to run great routes and everything i research seems to say he doesnt either, and route running is mor eimportant than people think although it is something that is fixeable. I feel like hed be more of a project receiver that may end up being good rather than an immediate impact which should be our goal. Just curious what everyone thought and if anyone had any good info i didnt know

He is a reciever that likely won't play up to his full potential for 3-5 years. He isn't known for running great routes and yes he is a little skinny and could put on a few pounds but he definately has "potential" to be a #1 type reciever in the NFL. He was a little streaky game to game but had some very good numbers by seasons end. It would be great to get him in the second but I really don't see him being their at 42.

a little off topic....but nice dream draft prime. I'd be happy for it to turn out that way.:sf49:

The kid is a very talented person. He needs to be coached for three years and then he may have a chance to be a #1. I seen him play alot and he did not look motivate when he played at South Carolina. He let a FS beat him in a jump ball against Auburn, You can't let that happen.

If we got your dream draft we would be sitting pretty. Good draft board.

it seems as i Rice is dropping after his workout a bit and not running at his workout and sticking with the 4.54 at the combine

how about steve smith will he be available in the 3rd round?

No. He'll go early to mid 2nd.

some people are now talking the possibility of Smith as late-1st rounder.

If I was someone like the Bears at the end of Rd 1, it'd consider it. Even SD could take Smith if Bowe is off the board.

Smith reminds me alot of McCardell who is still having a stellar career.

He's got the best size of any top WR in the draft.

except for CJ

and Jarret, who is a half an inch shorter
