Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports Tennessee WR Robert Meachem is scheduled to make a pre-draft visit to the San Francisco 49ers. No date has been announced.

I would definetely be open to us trading some picks to move up and get Meachem

I like Meachem but for some reason, I'm growing on the idea of drafting Levi Brown. I used to be all for Carriker or D-Line or bust but, I still feel like we need some O-line help. Levi Brown would be a great pick at #11.

Yeah. If he's the best player available, then sure. But he better be good. I wouldn't want to remember us having the chance to draft a great player, and we screwed up by taking an offensive tackle that was a bust. :mouthclosed:

you take that risk with every pick in the draft.

True. But is offensive tackle our biggest need at the moment? I'd rather draft a bust at a position that we needed an upgrade at then one where we didn't. Hmm...but if he's the best player available at number 11, then I guess we should grab him. Or trade down to get more picks. Maybe then we can still get Meachem.

Kwame Harris sucks, and adam snyder isn't a sure thing. I know people here love Snyder because he's not kwame harris, but he's really not that much better than harris(nolan gave him every chance to beat him out last year). If Browns is there, I'd be all for drafting him(I'm a carriker guy, btw). He'd open more holes for gore and give alex more time to throw. Just look at the diference marcus mcneil made for SD last year.

good news for you is last year i believe we only drafted something like 1 or 2 of all the players we brought in to visit. so bringing Meachem in doesn't really say much about who we are going to draft.

It think he is #3 on our list for the #11 pick and Nolan is bringing him in because I dont think anyone expected him to run that fast so they want to see if he is really that good. But I think Nolans list for #11 goes:

1. Willis
2. Carriker
3. Meachem
