They're talking about the St.Louis Rams on NFL Network right now, and they brought up an interesting question: Can Isaac Bruce still get it done?

Now they did just sign Drew Bennett do a decent contract in terms of expenses. Which makes it more of a mystery. In my opinion I think Bruce has at least one more 800 - 1,000 yard season. He'll be 35 this year, but due to his strong work ethic, I think he can still stay solid for at least one last time if he stays healthy. His receiving average hasn't really budged since 2002.

So do you think he can be starter?

Hes still effective. Injuries have slowed him down but hes better than Bennett and he can still produce.

Bennett is where he needs to be, in the slot. He can take over for Bruce in 2-3 years and then they'll find a new slot WR.

He'll be on the field for the first play, but I'm sure they use a solid rotation of him and Bennett.

No question that he WILL be. The rams aren't going to **** on a face of their franchise. Last year the whole team underachieved it wasn't directly his fault. They lost curtis and thats the void Bennett will fill. If he isn't in on every single snap that's a whole other issue but he will be lining up next to Holt as the #2 without question. I don't think a single person on here wouldnt like him as a WR for us so what makes you think the Rams are so WR stacked they can pass up such a realiable commodity.

He WILL start the season though injuries and outstanding play (bennett) may move him back though. Personally i'd consider it a stab in the back if he were not given the job to lose. He's ment too much to that organization not to have the job imo. I do think Bennett will flourish this year and expect 800-1000 and 9 td's or so with Bulger tossing to him. Much like Henry and Stokley that one year.

he doesnt have any recurring injuries that I know about and he is still a top tier receiever at 35. he will absolutely be a starter

No doubt he is still a top receiver and starter.

If by troll you mean person who is more informed and doesn't make obvious inquiries to boost their thread whoring status then yes I'm a troll. Stay in school kid. At least there calling people names like troll is acceptable

Uh no, I meant troll because you were acting like a total jerk. It was on NFL Network, so obviously it was worth discussing to them. I don't see why not here. And wasn't Bruce released the previous season and then resigned because the organization wasn't too sure if he could still hack it? Now that your thinking cap has been revoked by two people, be quiet. My goodness why is it always the new people that try to start some ish?
