Doing the 49ers mock draft last night, I sat there did some research and came up with this some picks seem a little crazy but I think they may be the right choice 4 weeks from now.

Also Trades, I don't like to project trades because I believe it makes drafts less likely to be true, most years trades are all over discussions but very few are made, so some teams may trade because of talent falling or such but I will just let the board play out.

1(1) Oakland - Jamarcus Russell QB LSU
The obvious choice

2(2) Detroit - Gaines Adams, DE Clemson
Defense big need for Detroit, they are happy with there QB, addressed RB and Oline in free agency and won't take another chance at receiver best defender available.

3(3) Cleveland - Brady Quinn QB ND
Many reasons this is the pick, the Crennel & Weis connection as well as a much need area to address

4(4) Tampa Bay - Calvin Johnson WR Georgia Tech
Tampa has other much more glaring needs but best player in the draft and they have to grab him.

5(5) Arizona - Joe Thomas OT Wis.
The biggest whole on this team is Tackle and this will be the biggest impact player of the draft, unfortunately

6(6) Washington - Leon Hall, CB Michigan
My most controversial pick, but springs falling out of the picture and no viable replacement to be across from Rodgers. Snider believes highly on his expectations at the cornerback position.

7(7) Minnesota - Laron Landry S LSU
Minnesota needs that playmaker in the secondary they had when Sharper was in his prime

8(8) Atlanta (from Houston) Jamaal Anderson DE Arkansas
Need to replace Patrick Kerney Jamaal on the other side of Abraham will make for a great dline

9(9) Miami Greg Olsen TE Miami
Miami could go all kinds of directions with this pick but the biggest lose this off season is Mcmicheal. Olsen will make it up and some.

10(10) Houston (from Atlanta) Levi Brown OT Penn
The choice is theirs and with Peterson still on the board it makes it tough but no matter who the back is if they don't up grade the line now they will be in for another terrible season.

11(11) San Francisco Patrick Willis LB Ole Miss
Carriker or Willis, Carriker or Willis, Carriker or Willis gotta go with the best Linebacker in the draft, Linebacker is a position we despretely need and he is an all out Nolan type guy with an all out package. Carriker is good thought I think we can get similiar value in the later rounds. Oh ya and a great example of a possible trade with peterson available but I am not going to post it as such.

12(12) Buffalo Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma
Another one of those crazy things where a player falls but I only see Houston taking him and they need a tackle, with the addition of Green much more than a back. Buffalo is doing freaking back flips.

13(13) St. Louis Amobi Okoye DT Louisville
Best player available in a much needed possition for the rams

14(14) Carolina Reggie Nelson S Florida
Aging Safety situation and a great way to upgrade the Defense

15(15) Pittsburgh Adam Carriker DE Nebraska
Nice upgrade to the Dline wonderful fit in the 3-4

16(16) Green Bay Marshawn Lynch RB Cal
With Peterson falling and despret for a back he will fit nicely

17(17) Jacksonville Ted Ginn Jr WR Ohio st
The Offense has some huge recievers but no speed players that could stretch the field and Ginn is that guy.

18(18) Cincinnati Darrelle Revis CB Pitt
Needing some solid play on defense linebacker possiblities but Revis is more of a need with Oneal hurting they need a solid corner.

19(19) Tennessee Robert Meachem WR Tenn
No Recievers on team. Best player on the board. What is there to think about.

20(20) NY Giants Chris Houston CB Houston
Worst Secondary in the league, enough said.

21(21) Denver Alan Branch DT Michigan
Most wholes filled in off season and Branch falling this fair is a perfect fit.

22(22) Dallas Micheal Griffin S Texas
Nice complement to Roy Williams and will work great in Wade Philips Defense.

23(23) Kansas City Joe Staley OT Central Michigan
Nice workouts moves Staley up draft boards and the Cheifs need to upgrade a very old O line

24(24) New England (from Seattle) Paul Posluszny LB Penn
New England will go defense and Posluszny is a straight up Belichick player and he can not be passed up.

25(25) NY Jets Jarvis Moss DE Florida
Eric Mangini will go for the best Player available and Moss will add some speed and a nice pass rush adding depth to the Dline

26(26) Philadelphia Dwayne Jarrett WR USC
A chance to add some depth and another weapon for Mcnabb

27(27) New Orleans Lawrence Timmons LB Florida St
Saints offense was outstanding last year but the Defense was lacking some playmakers, a great Linebacker like Timmons will add an immidiate impact player.

28(28) New England Aaron Ross CB Texas
Can't deny Ross's big play ability and even with Samuels coming back this year he may not be next year.

29(29) Baltimore Dwayne Bowe WR LSU
B-more always goes best player available and with a great Defense and few recieving threats but Heap it makes it that much better of a move.

30(30) San Diego Sidney Rice WR USC
Mccardell is 100 and they lacked that reciever in the playoffs, Rice is slipping in the draft but with a Back like LT, Rice will always be open.

31(31) Chicago Jon Beason LB Miami
Chances are one way or the other Briggs won't be back so Beason will be a great fit to fill a huge whole left behind.

32(32) Indianapolis Justin Harrell DT Tenn
Reagor gone, Simon a big ? Harrell is a great pick in there scheme.

Okay go ahead do your worse, I ain't scared, Okay maybe just a little :ahh:

Just remember anything can happen.

Good job, but i don't see AP falling that much or hall going that high. also as far as our pick i would have picked carriker instead.

good job though. these things takes a lot of time to do. i did one the other day and it took a while too.

I say that oakland will manage to mess up the team to a point of no return, they will draft Joe Thomas.:nana: and trade everyone on the team to get a reliable kicker:bubble: Lane Kiffin is young enough he'll play some QB then al davis will suit up and play RB/WR/DB. and thatll be the whole team.

raiders season finish? 16-0, Superbowl Champs.

Russell is anything but the obvious choice at #1. The Raiders still have no idea who they're gonna take but when all is said is done I think they'll go for CJ.

I can't see them taking CJ because if no one can get him the ball, whats the point. They need a QB so much more than a reciever. They can't afford to go reciever, I think the impact Vince Young had last year will also play a role in the desision.

very good all round mock

i dont see olsen being taken that high (at least they should trade down), branch falling that far (id take him over willis), or ATL takin andersen. they would likely take okoye over andersen, due to petrinos connection with him
