Scott Rabalais, of the Advocate, reports LSU DL Claude Wroten said that the San Francisco 49ers are one of two NFL teams showing the most interest in him. Wroten expects to go anywhere from the late first to late third rounds, but knows he could have gone much higher. Wroten was arrested Jan. 5 in Monroe on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

We are looking to get some pressure on the QB. Wroten has slipped from a top-20 prospect into the 2nd round, but he has shown maturity by taking responsibility for his mistakes. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the guy we pickup at #22.

No way does he goes 1st round, maybe, maybe 32 to the Steelers.

Plus, its no big deal to get caught with posession but poesession with intent to distribute is pretty serious and shows a serious commitment towards pot.

Ahhh they wouldnt play the same position, although the thought of a 305 pounder taking a hit off the bong and playing Lb is somewhat enticing.

No way are we taking him with pick #22. If he was their for our late 3rd pick maybe but not one of our first round picks.
