Will our 49ers be (dare I say) OVERRATED in madden '08

Judging by the media this offseason you would think the niners are about to 3peat. realistically I see us as a wildcard team. Do you think madden will have us overrated?? I'm thinking we get an overall of about 90.

no, if i remember correctly the original ovr team rating was an 83, by the end of the year 85, so 87-89 would seem about right. not many teams were 90 and above ovr in madden 07

Yea the highest rated teams are only like a 93 overall,i'd expect an 87 for us.

We are only going to be about 87, maybe 88. The are still going to put alot of factors from last season into it. Also since the rookies have never played an NFL game. They are going to rate them pretty much around the picks they got drafted.

Defense: 88 with Clements and Lewis will bring the secondary # up

Special Teams: 90, andy lee up to 87-88, Nedney 90

I expect us to be in the mid 80s, probably 86. The highest teams should be the pats, who should be a 94 or 95, and the colts at like 92. Id also give the Bolts and Ravens 90+, Bolts being 91 and the Ravens being a solid 90 (with 96 or 97 def)

we had the worst defense in the league last year. they normally go by last year stats so i will say the defense will be 83, with the addition of our free agents. off will be 88 thanks to getting jackson to help the wr core.

Gore will likely be a 92,just like he was at the end of last season...Maybe a 93.

Yep gore was already a 92 on Xbox live at the end of the year update.

by the end of last years EA roster updates the 9ers were 85 ovr, no reason why we couldn't be 86-88 ovr
