Xbox360 wireless adapter help?

so i cant get my wireless gaming adapater to hook up to my xbox360 so i can get on xbox live has anyone worked with these before? or how do i get my linksys preset key?

its not the xbox official adapter its the cheaper one

They helped me w/ it still. It sounds like the one my friend has, and it only took like twenty minutes on the phone w/ them. If i wasn't on the phone w/ them it probably would of taken a lifetime.
