Hey everyone, I haven't ever been to a professional football game and was just wondering how I would go about buying super bowl tickets. Like what website to go to or where I have to go. It would be okay even if I can't get them for this year's superbowl, but I would like to go to one eventually. I'm not sure how much they would cost either, so if someone could help me with that as well it'd be great.. I know it would be a lot but I'm willing to save up for it if I could some day go.
Also, if this is in the wrong forum I'm sorry.. it just seemed like it should be here.

Fair enough. Do you have the devil's address or phone number? Is it really that hard to get tickets for it though? Even a couple years in advance?

Ahh I see. I figured it would be one of the types of things where you have to have connections or get lucky and win them somehow. I guess I'll just look into getting some 49er tickets. It'd be way cheaper, I'd definately get to see my fav team then, and it'd be a whole lot easier. Thanks.

Well im not telling you to give up. But i know some people who tried to get SB tickets when the raiders went, there raiders fans. Anyway the best they could do was a couple of Gs for nose bleed seats.

Hard to get Superbowl tickets. You can always try ebay when it get's close..But I am sure you will have to pay alot for them..
The best thing to do is go to a 49er game.. Check out this link..

You missed the deadline for this year.

Beginning in Feb. 2007, you can register to get tickets to the SuperBowl that will be played in Arizona.
Only a very small amount of tickets are made available to the public, and you wouldn't want them. They are probably only a portion of the worst section of the stadium.
Off the top, the NFL and both teams hold many tickets for VIPs and special interests, promotions, etc... Each team also gets a certain amount of seats to sell to their season ticket holders - not all season ticket holders get tickets, of course. The distribution of these tickets is either based on a lottery or seniority. But that's up to the team.
There are always tickets available through ticket brokers (basically scalpers) for thousands of dollars. E-Bay and other on-line sites are also options, but not much better than ticket brokers.
Your best bet is if you happen to know someone who has a ticket to spare.

My ex was a Lambs season tix holder when they were in LA and her number got picked for SB ticket. Forgot which team went that year, where the seats were and how much she paid for them but I know she sold them for a few grand.

SB tickets are almost imposable to get. This is the break down the last time I saw one. The NFL gets 40% of the seats. The host city gets 15%. The two teams get 15% each. The rest of the 30 teams get the other 15%. For each team that gets to go to the SB out of their 15% those are the tickets that go to the players and everyone with the team, local sponsors, and last but not least season ticket holders. For the 49ers season ticket holders like most teams it is a lottery to get a chance to buy tickets. You get one chance for each seat + number of years you have had a season ticket (for me it would look like this 1 +6 years =7 so with my three seats is 21 shots). So not to paint a bleak picture it is hard for even season ticket holders to get SB tickets. I know season ticket holders who have been there for 50+ years with 10 or more tickets. The last time the SB was in San Diego seats went for $500 and $600 face price. All they do is go up every year and if it is in a small place like Jacksonville the go up even more. I love my Niners but I can not bring myself to pay for one game what I pay for 10 already. Good luck. Another thing to do is go to the SB and wait tell after kickoff then the scalpers dump there tickets cheap to get whatever they can for them. I know some guys who go and do it that way each year.
