I belive that Louisville is going to take it again. Brohm is still there and they will always have the O to keep up with WVU. Also look out for Rutgers they can win the confrence if they play like last year.

Devine is God like

If he can make it into school and play and if White and Slaton stay for their senior years...they could win the national title

Thank you, someone understands that WVU is a force not ment to be taken lightly, that would be cool if Noel could start as a freshman, and I still support steve, I wanted him to get the heismann last year, but his numbers wernt good enough:nolisten:

and you gotta support Cuse, even though they stink cause there cuse' nuff said

The only thing im not sure about is their defense

theyve always had trouble on that side of the ball.

Should they shore that up....they'll be unstoppable

When Louisville and West Virginia square off this year I am going to wager several hundred dollars on the over. This is going to be an offensive shoot-out.I can't wait.

Louisville is going to have the best Defense WV is going to go up against.

Louisville recently got DB JUCO recruit named Woodny Turenne who is supposed to be one of the best DBs this decade...im anxious to see this guy in action

Hate to say this but Louisville defense is not going to slow down West Virginia's offense. They will never be able to contain white and the 1-2 punch with Slaton. At the same time WV will have a difficult time Slowing down Louisville's passing attack of Brohm.Over/under will be between 65-75.

Right now the big east is WV's to lose, they have the talent and i think they can win it, i was hoping all last season steve could lead them to the Nat Champ BCS game but, what are you gonna do? nothing, this is WVU's year, their D is not bad and i think an contain Louiville's O enough to sloow them down at least, also Rutgers lost a couple of good seniors but has a couple of really good players returning aswell, i just dont think they have the talent to make a running at the big east title.

I'm rooting for Pitt, I'm not a real fan but their quarterback went to my high school. I see WV winning it though, their rushing attack is unstoppable.

I like Pitt as well...they got an excellent back in Lesean McCoy this year from recruiting and should play immediately and make an impact. But other thatn that...theyre a pretty vulnerable team.

I hope they do well though

They play a 3-3-5 formation. It is very wierd and it is very tough against the pass, but the running game is different.

It is very wierd and it is very tough against the pass, but the running game is different.Yeah, they played a 3-3-5 where they essentially had 3 safeties on the field at the same time. One of the safeties acted as a 'rover', lining up at different positions depending on the play called. It's kind of a variation of the 46 defense with an extra safety instead of a lineman (or a 46/3-4 hybrid if you prefer).

The Rover position was usually played by Eric Wicks, who I had an eye on throughout the season. I'm a little confused since he's been named to the 2007 Lott Trophy watch list. I thought he was a senior who was draft eligible. He did have a redshirt Junior season, so is he returning for another season?

It shows him in Foxsports.com, but you never know until they play in August.

You're boooing the best team in the Big East...

The best teams will play each other in Morgantown this year, while I do believe UofL is the best team they are just barely better than WVU and will proabably lose in WV this year.

Whoever wins the UofL - WVU game will take the crown.

Also, Louisville blows out Rutgers last game of the season...you heard it here first.

IMO i believe WV will win it this year, however Louisville obviously has a great shot at taking the big east. however, maybe by the end of this season or beginning of next season, people will start talking about South Florida as a contender to win the big east. in just 2 years since joining the Big East, they have beaten every school in the conference at least once. 2 years ago they CRUSHED at the time #9 louisville. math grothe (qb) is a beast. mike ford is a freshman rb this year and in just 1 game (yes i know it was againt Elon, but...) he has 3 TDs, 2 rushing 1 receiving. he rushed just 5 times for over 70 yards. some people over here in florida have them upsetting auburn this weekend...i'm not to sure on that one yet. but just a heads up for those on the west coast, watch for USF in the next year or so.

And they just beat Auburn, they can hang with Louisville and West Virginia (they beat louisville 2 years ago and WV last year) but i dont think they'll be able to beat them both this year (although they do get to play both at home). Conference should finish Louisville or WV, South Florida, Louisville or WV, Rutgers, garbage teams....

ya i was at a casino here in tampa at the time of the game and the whole place stopped what they were doing to watch the over time. it was very exciting. what sucks though is i should have been there. i had the ticket but i couldnt get off work. but i agree, i still believe they have a tough road this year to beat both WV and Louisville. is it possible, sure they have beaten both teams, but is it likely, i would have to say no. but i hope i am terribly wrong and i will be there for every home game for USF.
