Look everyone is talking about Micheal Huff and Jimmy Williams. Both of these players are overrated. Look i say that we are good where we are at corner backs. Spencer and Davis on the outside with Harris at nickel. Spencer is going to be a top-level cb and davis just need to progress. Harris is a definite nickel corner. Derrick Johnson will progress and sooner or later he will replace harris at nickel. Then everyone take Mike Rumph as a joke. THis man is talent being held, if i was Nolan ill put him starting safety. It will take him time to get use of the position change since last year expeirment where he bit on coverage too much like a corner. It takes time. With the draft i say Davis at 6 because Huff is the most overrated cb coming out. THen hopefully at 22 we get Greenway if not Sims. With our 3rd round pick i say the sleeper in the draft would be Stanford linebacker, in my eyes if he bulks up he can be the next Brian Urlacher

yea we def. dont need to go corner first round unless we can get the top one at the 22nd pick. I still think Mike Rumph has some potential but hes getting to be quite injury prone. O well we'll see

Don't forget about Thornton, he could play into the mix fairly well also. He showed some flashes of excellence and has good potential IMO.

When you've won six games in the last two years the last thing you want to do is stick with the players that got you there.

I do not think we should draft a CB at all in the first round. Reason is we in the past have not drafted a good CB in the first round period. Rumph and Plummer to me were never good corners and Plummer to me only had one good year. I think we should draft V. Davis at 6th if he is still there, and perhaps draft an OLB at the 22nd spot to fill our LB corp needs. It will take some time for an corner to make his presence as a rookie but the LB corp coming out of this draft class will make an impact now. So I say draft one who is the best left at 22.

Ummm, don't look now but the guys who drafted Plummer and Rumph are no longer with the team.

Mike Nolan was quoted as saying that the FS experiment with Mike Rumph was a failure - he didn't have the instincts of a FS. Rumph will make it as a CB on this team or not at all...
