ESPN.com reports the Chicago Bears have released CB Daven Holly.
Whaddya think? Bring the boy home and give him another shot? I thought he looked pretty good in preseason last year.

Yeah, the guy had some tools coming out of college... but what makes you think he'd make it here with the new bodies we brought in, knowing he didn't make it last season?

But hey... like they say... competition is always good.

Bring him in and make him compete. He's got a year of experience in the NFL now as well...

I agree he did look alright in the pre season last year. but no thanks, coach Nolan and Scot Mccloughan already made their choice on him last year and cut him loose.

so far he has been cut by us with our hurtin secondary problems and the bears, so there is obviously a reason why he isn't making it on NFL teams.

we wanted to sign to the P.S. but the bears claimed him off waivers. If i remeber right

Unless he's on some HGH, I don't see why he'd make it this year when Nolan didn't want him last year. It's not like he got tons of game time and a ton of experience last season.
