I imagine that's not updated to this point ... or else TO and Moss would be lower, Vick higher. The Vick page doesn't have any mention of dogs at all.

I'm assuming this is only based on last season... there have been worse players than T.O.

ya but everytime TO scratches his head we hear about it. the media sucks sometimes. True, T.O. has been in the NFL headlines for the last six years (maybe more) with his drama. If this is just the result of last season to now, no one has Vick beaten, but if you are talking about the last three of four seasons, yeah T.O. is first.

Even though i think Shockey is an *****, he shouldn't be on this list. What is so controversial about Shockey?

Where's Odell Thurman or A.J. Nicholson?
Or even Chad Johnson. He's not a bad controversial, but he does his own thing.

Even though i think Shockey is an *****, he shouldn't be on this list. What is so controversial about Shockey? Well, to be fair, Shockey, Ricky Williams, and Sean Taylor shouldn't be on this list with these other guys. Shockey says dumb things to the media, and they get blown up because he plays in New York; Ricky just keeps finding ways to NOT play in the NFL and won't get left alone by the media; and Taylor didn't even do anything newsworthy all of last year except for blowing up Moorman in the Pro Bowl.
Compared to guys like T.O., Vick, PacMan, Chris Henry, etc., these guys are nothing.

Where's Odell Thurman or A.J. Nicholson? If you put Thurman or Nicholson on the list, you might as well put Albert Haynesworth and a bunch of other guys that committed a random incident or two within the past couple years. The list would be like 30 names long.
PS- I dunno how long you've had your signature, probably awhile but I'm just an ***** so I never noticed it, but Auburn is sick. One of my favorite college teams and easily my favorite team in the SEC.

Fair enough. They could just list the whole Bengals squad and kill several birds with one stone.
And, I've had this AV for at least a year, maybe longer. Had another AU RBs one on the old board too.

Yeah, like I said, I'm an *****, although I guess it did look familiar as your sig once I thought about it. My cousin went there (graduated in 02), and you can't help but respect them as an NFL factory (Rudi Johnson's easily one of my top 5 favorite backs in the league, love his tough running style), and of course adding Carlos Rogers, Marcus Washington, and Jason Campbell into the mix on the Skins doesn't hurt my appreciation for their program. I also despise Florida, so when the Tigers beat them last year I couldn't have been happier.

He is a bum. But when you light up 10 pounds of reefer per day, personal hygiene becomes an afterthought.

Some think his celebrations border on taunting. Some think he talked too much about the Coughlin situation and further divided the already tense Giants' locker room last season. He called Bill Parcells a "****" in an interview thought I think he states he was misquoted. I *think* he also made some kind of anti-gay remark a few years ago when asked about homosexual players in the NFL. I could be wrong about that though.

I really don't see how T.O. can top the list. He might be near the bottom but really what has he ever done besides catch touchdowns and run his mouth? Right now it would have to be
1.Vick
2.Pacman Jones
3.Tank Johnson
4.Chris Henry
5.Sean Taylor
6.Shawn Merriman
7.Randy Moss
8.T.O.
9.Shockey
And last time I checked Ricky wasn't in the NFL

And last time I checked Ricky wasn't in the NFL You have T.O. as almost the least controversial person on the entire list? Really?
Whether you agree with him being in the news or not, he's in it more than any other player on this list outside of MAYBE Vick. That means he's controversial- moreso than anyone else except maybe Vick. T.O. loves making media attention for himself, he's an automatic #1 or #2. Sean Taylor hasn't done anything in over a year. Shawn Merriman got caught doing steroids and payed for it. Randy Moss hasn't really done anything but complain about the Raiders, but who can blame him for that?

What's controversial about T.O.? By now I consider his act old news, like I said other then running his mouth what does he do? Ok, just because you consider his act old news doesn't mean it's not constantly in the news anyway. From his nonsense on the 49ers and calling Garcia gay afterwards, his constant cries for attention while on the Eagles while also calling out McNabb, working out in front of the press at his house after getting suspended, signing with the Cowboys after celebrating on their star years earlier, his painkiller overdose, wearing a Discovery Channel jersey to practice, spitting on DeAngelo Hall during a game, taking shots at Parcells as soon as he leaves the Cowboys...the list could go on.
Whether or not you agree with how big a deal any of those actions are, the fact is the guy puts himself in the news all the time- he's well aware the media is always ready to spotlight him and he embraces that by saying and doing things that will get attention. He's literally the walking definition of controversy; every time he does something it's big news and people divide over their opinions on him and whatever he did. People even debate over whether or not he should be a Hall of Famer because of his off-the-field drama. In terms of controversial players in the NFL- it's him and Vick at the top, and then everyone else.

I guess like you said I've accepted him as a kid in need of attention.
