we should really spread the word to our fellow fans about this it would be great to get 10 thousand fans or so to cooperate.

Just realized I spelt suit wrong. Haha.

think I am gonna design a special niners suit. Maybe red with a gold shirt and a Niners Tie or something like that.

I like the idea someone had bout getting a coat at a second hand store....wearing it for the first ten minutes everybody take them off and re donate them back at the stadium in boxes...it will never happen though

In order to be 'Faithful', you have to show commitment!

Hell no, sitting through a football game in a suit? Talk about uncomfortable.

How about someone give me some tickets to the game and I'd wear a suit for sure then.

Just call in and say: "It's coming out both ends!". Trust me, they won't need you at work!

I would but I wouldn't make it past the gates as I look waaay to much like a mafia hitman in a suit.

Hell no, sitting through a football game in a suit? Talk about uncomfortable. Then you should go with a back up plan....the Bill Belichick/Reebok sweatshirt with matching head band, specifically cut at the sleeves for that maximum "Let's Get Physical" feel!

It sounds like a fun idea now, but afer an afternoon of tailgating and hot dogs, I'm afraid it'll turn out like this:

lol, I'll be there too, and doubt I will. I spent like 80 bucks on my jersey, and like to wear it at games. but who knows? Maybe I'll get talked into it between now and then.

Fans wearing suits in the stands? Could become a trademark. I think it is awesome.

So that means it's rediculous? :nonono:

Call me crazy, but I think it'd be far cooler to see the camera pan over a croud of suits supporting Nolan instead of a gigantic Reebok ad. If I could go to the game you bet I'd be wearing a suit.

Only need to wear for 10 minutes or the 1st quarter. All the other time wear your usual.

What's 10-20 minutes out of your life?

Complete idea here:

Nolan should be more concerned with the game than what he is wearing to the game.:victory:

Exactly...no need for the entire suit, just a suit jacket or sports coat will do.

It is not about Nolan anymore, the country will be looking to see if SF really does this or not. If we represent well then they will be saying,"Wow, what great fans we are." If we do not then it is the same old," Spoiled 49er fans like their wine and cheese and do not support the team enough anymore to have a home field advantage." I see this as an easy opportunity to gain some cred back for us the fans.

I'll be there, but I am not going to wear a suit. I support Nolan, but I highly doubt wearing a suit will make the impact some are expecting. I hate wearing suits, their just not me. Besides, I'll be enjoying our 49-0 tromping over the Cards in my Alex Smith jersey! No suit for me!

Jerm, just wear the Gametime norm, and throw a suit jacket over the top of your jersey. Then after the first quarter donate them. It is a great idea and it is for the monday night football game. So it will already be night time when the game starts so it should be cool outside where you wont be sweating.

I am completely Down for this idea.

It's a good idea to Support Nolan, but not a good idea if you think about it. Nolan wants to wear the suit as a coach. If everyone else wears it too, it won't look so special. Funny, yes. Special no.

But more importantly, Reebok won't like it. Fans who show up to games without Reebok appearall, because they are mimiking their coach, won't be good. They might not let him wear the suit at all next year.

I'd just as soon let Nolan wear the suit. He's the one that deserves to look sexy, not me. :P

I think everyone in suits is perfect for the first game.

It will have a true funeral feel to it after the Cardinals bury the 49ers on Monday night!

Actually it's a pretty cool idea. Can't wait to see it in person.
