Defense defense defense. A great powered LB or a Hard hitting CB who will be a ball hawk. I'd go for LB though. Carpenter or Lawson. :worthy:

U know i'm all for gettin VD for the offense.he's gonna be awesome..but we really need some monsters for our D...Nolan will take the best player available out of the ones he wants...if VD is gone...look for alot of defensive picks....i hope they have some good sleepers hidden away

But also Nolan said hes commited to building through the draft around Alex. So I can see us drafting VD to help Alex progress.:D

dbl TE set would help alex a ton to be able to throw the ball as well as run... i agree a monster on d would be a nice thing but on thing that you have to understand is that hawk will not be as good as everyone thinks if he doesnt have an defensive line that complements him as well and his ability to roam side to side and make plays... ray lewis just recently complained about this and his ability is limited to his dline... go vd and take a LB or CB at 22

Improving the front 7 will improve the secondary. A QB sack is a thing of beauty. I wish it went down like getting Hawk at #6 and then Bunkley at #22. Then trade all of their #7s for a #2 to select the best TE avail. This is going to be a great draft.

it will be the bpa from either the lb or db position. draft for quality but still keep the need in focus

no gm on earth would take 3 #7's for a second round pick.

We havent had an impact at safety in a while. When we were great, we had tim mcdonald and merton hanks, Now we have T. Parrish and #6 pick Huff or #22 pick - Jason Allen. both of these guys can get it done, and it gives you a grace period in which to find a good corner, with a cover safety like either of those picks, your third and sometimes second CB dont have to be that good because they are getting help over the top or the safety covering the slot receiver. Think About It!:nana:

I think we should devote or 22nd pick to defense and take a guy like lawson, wimbley, greenway or carpentor
