Do you think selling a slightly used PS3 w/ 3 wireless sixaxis controllers, HD cables, and splinter cell for 750.00 is reasonable?? I'm thinking about selling mine and I'm trying to figure out what would be a good price.

That sounds like a pretty good price but sell it now before the price of the PS3 drops

Have heard this a few times but no set date or month, I just hope it drops in time for Madden and NCAA, so hopefully mid July

I think Sony can make the price right now (so it will help their sales) but i think they will make us wait until Christmas

Why price it? Ebay it with no "buy it now" price, set the auction for a week and you'll get far more than $750.
1 controller and the main unit are going for $650, surely a game, cables and 2 extra controllers are woth more than $100 to someone.

Yeah, but after ebay fees, Paypal fees, and the hassel that comes with ebay, it might not be worth it.

Ah yes but it is used, key word. You can go to any Gamestop or EB place and get a used PS3 now with controller for $500, add two new or used controllers and a used Splinter Cell and it's only $600-650 tops.

That and people are much more comfortable buying from a store than a person in case of failure.

Type in used ps3 into ebay and see the prices ($699 was the cheapest used system on there), its just stupid not to put it up there. Your talking about -10-15% in fees and the trouble of shipping. Just set a high limit so it does not sell for less than you can get in your own town. NEVER EVER underestimate the idiocy the internet has brought right to our screen so that we may pillage the poor fools, it may be cheaper and easier in other places but people are weird and buy on impulse put together a good ad and you'll have no trouble unloading it for a nice profit.
I sold an old Xbox + one that didnt work (for parts), 3 controllers and a handfull of games for more than I paid for the 1 Xbox brand new (got about 320 out of the deal).
Its almost a lock you will find some shmuck on there that will pay you off far far more than anything you'll get via a store or someone you know.
Also another local gem is craigslist wher you'll pay no fee's what so ever.

And for things that are broken, sometimes people don't read carefully regardless of how big you put it.
Now as far as setting a higher min bid, doesn't that increase the fees significantly? Or do you mean a high reserve? I know that people are sometimes discouraged about items with a reserve because they may just be wasting their time.
I do agree with using craigslist. It's a nice way of selling things and with no fees.
