Larry Allen is one of the baddest men to ever come through the NFL. I don't know how you can NOT be intimidated by him.

did you ask him if he was planning on retiring? did you tell him how much he has improved our running game? did you say I want to see you in a 9ers uniform in the pro bowl again, since you have a vacation planned around it?

One year I bumped into Fred Beasley at Wal-Mart. He had his youngest son sitting in the basket. I just sneaked up behind him and whispered "HELLO, Mr. Beasley #40" to him so that nobody else would hear me and to safeguard his privacy.
He grinned and greeted me (recognized me from my Christmas card and photo). We chatted a moment and shook hands when we were done. At that point, his son offered his hand to me, too. I thought that was so cute! Chip off the old block...except he was such a tiny fellow, at the time.
When I went out to the parking lot after shopping, Fred and family were arriving at the same time as I. He was parked opposite me! I showed him my Niner Jan license plates.
I miss Fred; I felt bad when he was cut. He was a nice person. Hope he is doing well, wherever he is. I believe he now has 3 sons (building his own team!)

As far as I know, none of our 49ers is a SAINT. They all make human errors and have character missteps once in a while.
Who knows what caused the rift among the 3 players? I don't and certainly you don't for sure. Isn't it all a matter of hearsay or conjecture?
Every time I bumped into Fred at the 49ers' facility, he always came over to greet me, so I had no beef with him. He always seemed mild-mannered to me, but who knows? There are always 2 sides to every story, as they say.

Thats pretty cool. Very very coincidentally you just happened to go into Safeway, where there happened to be various football players whom you recognize by body tattoos, and eye features, Drive by the HQ, parade over to Mariott and follow, I mean drive by on 101 behind 49er cars .. and then wait in the lobby all night for your "cousin Vinny" :whistling:
Stalker, not at all :secret:
Just kidding man thats pretty dope. To bad you didn't get autographs.
Enough games TRAINING CAMP IS HERE!
