I've been playing since 1999. Some of my college buddies and I, have been in our own yahoo league since that time. This will be our 8th year playing in the 12 team league. We throw some money down and the winner also gets the trophy with their team name engraved on it. I won it this past year. I had an all-star casts. Steve Smith, Alexander, Rod Smith, TO, Carson Palmer, Bulger, Rackers, Thomas Jones, Ronnie Brown, Heath Miller.

1995 to the present. I'm addicted and FF made me so much more a fan of the NFL. I always liked the Niners but after playing FF my first year my interest in other teams skyrocketed, now I'd have to say I'm more a fan of the league than any team.

Same story for me. Player since '95, and a fan of the league. Of course, my loyalties do lie with the Niners, and I live and die with each game. However, FF has opened me up to watching what would normally be a game of no interest to me, just to keep tabs on certain players.

There are two players I never rank, and will never draft though. :spy:

Nope. I won't say who they are because I'm going to be playing against some of you this season. I will say this...they play the same position.

Actually this is going to be my first time playing this year. In college some of my friends/coworkers started to play around '98 but I just vaguely asked what it was they were doing. Didn't dedicate the time. This time I figured what the hell. Guess what my first draft I was first overall so I chose Alexander. The rest was okay but lots of question marks with my receivers. And I messed around with that queuing thing and kept drafting way to many kickers when I was trying to do something else, oh well. Wish me luck. :thud:

I remember back in junior high (1990), I joined one of my older brothers fantasy football leagues.

I remember having Nick Lowrey as my kicker, Haywood Jefferies and Ricky Proehl as some of my WRs. Thurman Thomas was one of my Rbs. I forget who my QB was. I won that year though! I think the pot was maybe only 200 bones but it felt like a lot at the time!

It was crazy. It was a TD only league. I remember being excited to get the newspaper every monday morning to check the stats of of my players. Everything was done by hand. You had to call in before every thursday to set your line up and make changes (Add/drop). It was fun but nothing like it is now!

2006 will be my first time playing. My family and college take up most of my time during the football season, so I barely have time to watch my beloved Niners. I'm taking the fall semester off so I will finally have the time to learn the details of playing fantasy football.:sam:
