Did anyone see the Brown game wednesday? The one commentator was slurring horribly and repeating words several times over and over again. My wife doesn't even watch football, and she was laughing her *** off with me about this guy. Unbelievable. They need to install a breath-a-lyzer in the microphone, it's ridiculously unprofessional... did the browns just let their fans into the commentating booth or what?

I think Bernie Kosar is their color commentator. He always sounds drunk, but I think it's just due to all the beatings he took as a QB.

Then again, if I had to call Browns games, I'd probably get liquored up too. Hard to watch.

I second this. Why in the name of all that is holy would we want to prevent commentators from being drunk? I think the booth should have the knowledge guy, the color guy, and the drunk guy.

Bob Uker (I have know idea how to spell his last name) from the movie major league. I would crack up laughing if I had the chance to hear a guy like that do the play by play.

The Ticket Radio in Dallas played about 6-7 cuts from the broadcast. It was Bernie Kosar, and he was tanked!

i think the whole fox nfl show is drunk especially terry bradshaw even though theyre not commentators itll be funny bradshaw "boy howdy frank gore dun put a number on them cardinals"

I will say this: Bernie Kosar is far from polished. He does sound drunk in the booth when it's just how he talks. But he pulls no punches when it comes to giving his assessment of the team, and if you can look past the delivery part of his color commentary, I think he's very knowledgable of the game.
