As a trade off for going to the Baltimore game on October 7th, I have to spend a couple of days in Sonoma. What kind of driving times should I expect from Sonoma to the stadium for the 1:15 game?
It looks like its about 60 miles, but I'm not sure of the traffic.
Thanks guys.

it will probably take anywhere from 1-1 1/2 hours at most. There is no traffic on the main freeway heading into the city. However, I would make sure there are no other special events happening that weekend because that will cause major delays getting into the city. Another quick way to get there is to actually go over the Richmond/San Rafael bridge and then go over the Bay Bridge.

Thanks. That looks like a good plan. I might even be there in time to tailgate

If you plan to tailgate, make sure you make arrangements way beforehand and be ready to be there at 9A.M....it is not that far from Sonoma to Candlestick, but can get confusing once you get close to the stadium...maybe you can make arrangements with someone else on the board here to meet you somewhere and guide you along...remember too, if you go down 101, its five bucks for the Golden Gate Toll...there are signs on polls that can guide you there or just follow the crowd once you get close on Hwy 101...
