View Full Version : Death of the SeaChicken...

Yes, it's true. As heartbreaking as it is, SeaChicken will be no more. But don't get too happy just yet, Drac.
When I joined this board as a rival fan, I wanted a name that had some levity to it so that people weren't immediately put off by my presence. I figured taking the "poking fun at myself" approach might lighten people up and I think it worked. After over 4,000 posts with you guys (man I need to get a life), I still enjoy being on this board.
But now that we've made the switch and are all starting over on a new board, it's as good an opportunity for me to switch to the moniker that I use on just about every other board in the NFL - Large Ant (as in "Largent"). So where the "Chicken" is dead, the "Ant" lives.
I do realize that this sounds extremely unnatural for some and for those who care enough to reject it on principle, I understand. Feel free to continue to call me any derivative of SeaChicken that you'd like. But I just wanted you guys to know that he is I and I am him.
I now return you to your regularly scheduled broadcast...

This doesn't get you out of the SB Loser Club
Ouch.
Common leave Seachicken alone.
They lost the SB
They lost Hutchinson
and
They overpaid for a SF injury prone LB
No need to make him feel worse...
come on... group hug http://denrick.eqwolf.com/grouphug.gif

All that and yet they're still favored to win the division. :cool2:
I'm sure the Eagles were favored to win their division too. :hide:

I know the feeling, I changed my user name too.
(although for different reasons)
And while I will never understand why a Hawk's fan spends so much time on a 49er msg board, at least you and Tiz arguing :boxing: back and forth keeps me entertained during the offseason. :tung:

yeah, too bad about the 3 curses :hide:
Considering all the things that have happened to the previous SB losers, if I were Holmgren, I'd order all my players to cocoon themselves in bubble wrap until game day.

Prior to last years season, so were the Eagles and the NFC West was labeled as the weakest division in the NFL.
So much for preseason predictions by the "experts." :rolleyes2:

we actually agree more than we argue tho.
but i'll always pick on him because he's one of the 5 true seahawks fans that exist...he should be in a zoo or some other type of cage...:whistling:
True, but Seahawks fans are not quite as rare as a true Raven's fan.

but the rarest occurence is a niner passing TD :tung:
Doh! :homer:
I'd say "but only because a Dorsey passing TD is such a rare thing" but then Blade would be all in here and next thing you know this thread would be 11 pages long. :tung:

I like old threads. I had a nice time digging up threads on the Cards board of when they actually thought they were good.

Hmmmm. I thought it was just because "Large Ant" has the same initials as "Los Angeles".
