View Full Version : Any Cardinal vs Niner Fan Heckling Stories?
Walking out of the stadium I was looking for Cardinals fans, surprisingly I only found one with a James jersey. I had a good time heckling him all the way out of there. They shouldn't wear the jersey to the game without expecting to get a little ribbing hear and there.

if he was a real fan, he coulda just said that they've owned us the prior 4 games....other than that....well...I guess that's all he could've said....I mean, it's the cardinals...

I acutally saw a fight in the stands. These two dudes showed up in Cardinal jerseys and an Arizona flag - not a "Cardinals" flag. An Arizona state flag! They were real brazen walking to their seats holding that flag up as Niner fans were heckling them.
Needless to say, they took a LOT of smack as they were the only Cards fans in the whole section. They were just DROWNING in heckles ALL game and they would rile up the surrounding niner fans even more by standing up and unfurling that flag in front of everyone. That's pretty much all they had.
I guess it got progressively testy throughout the game and came to a head when the Cards scored their last touchdown. I look over and one of the dudes is jawing with a PISSED-off Niner fan. I dunno who started it but punches started flying and now the whole stadium is watching. SFPD :cop: runs up and trys to settle the situation and as the Card fans are trying to plead their case, they start getting pelted with full beers! They got nailed at least three times in the face. The cops had to escort them out for their own safety and they just marched down the stairs still waving their Arizona flag like the game was over. :lightning: I really wished they had stuck around til the end
I actually felt kinda bad for them. They werent being THAT obnoxious other than the flag thing but oh well.

I have the cheap season tickets and there were three sets of Cardinals and 1 Dallas guys with an Owens jersey that were escorted out. Two fights broke out and during one another almost occurred two rows in front of me but the Redwings left before anything happened to them. I was actually disappointed. I understanding heckling and giving someone poo but to actually get in a physical fight because the Cards just went up 4 and your teams is losing is just pitiful. Of course the liquid courage has a lot to do with it but some on we all paid money watch the game not the stands.

I think I saw that Cowboy fan.. Wasn't here somewhere around UR 46 or 48... I saw him being escorted and then he came back up a few sections over and got kicked out from there as well...
Hey RaiderHater, I think I saw you sitting in Seaction 49 Row 2. Was that you? I was in the first row all the way in seat 2.

What happened in the upper reserve section on like the north part of the stands. Everyone was like OHHH!!! And we couldnt tell wht was happening.
That was the fight where the guy kept getting hit with the full beers. I was about 2 sections over so I got a good view. I think it was in UR53.

Yah, emotions were riding high and I'm sure were fueled with a few too many beers. I think there definitely are knuckleheads in EVERY fan base, though.

there were 3 middle-aged cardinal fans sitting behind me.. they were pretty nice though. but to the left of me was a loud cardinals fan who got heckled the whole game.. i remember after the leinart touchdown late in the 4th he got up in the aisle and our mascot happened to be there. he was taunting the mascot like crazy but sam pulled out a banner that said '49ers 5-time super bowl champs' and both sections went crazy laughing it was so great.. o yea he also got silly-stringed, but it was priceless seeing the look on his face after we won.

I really did not see to many Cards fans in the stadium. I saw a group by gate trying to tailgate, what have the Cards or there fans ever done right? They were only two in my section and they were cool. Even at the start of the game they said the Cards would find some way to blow it.

I posted this in a differnt threat but I will post it here too.
We had these two skinny kids that were Tard fans. They were good sports about the game. We gave them hell every chance we got. Some even picked one up and lifted him over their shoulders. I would have came down fighting but he came down laughing. Good sport.

I saw that fight too. I felt kinda bad when some guy threw the beer at some dude (can't tell if he hit the right target though...). Regardless if that's a Tards fan or not, it's still not good to throw beer at someone. That section seems to have fights broke out in every game... seems a bit of a trouble section... I wonder if they are also those people who took up 3 parking spots to "tailgate" at the main lot. Very inconsiderate. :nonono: I'm going to call and see how I can go about complaining people doing their so-call "tailgating" at the next parking space. I saw a lot of parking spot with no cars but occupied by people's grill and chairs, this is just not right!

I will be watching for flying liquids when I suit up in my V. Davis jersey at the Giants-Niners game on 10/21......

In my section we had no fights but we had a chant CARDINALS SUCK about later in the third Quarter and then again in the fourth when we were down. Then I joined in when we got our touchdown. I didn't want to chant and have us lose. Anyway no fights because I didn't see Cards fans. I was very pleased with how many niner fans there were and very few Cards fans. I wasn't able to heckle after the game either.

Yeah I was there with 3 other Cards fans (we flew in from Phx.). We sat in sec. 31 or 33 really cant remember, anyways I must say you guys are brutal, but all in all we did enjoy ourselfs. I now am going to be nice when you guys come to Phx to enjoy a game and our city, getting smack talked too for 8 hours gave me a headache. As far as those dudes with the AZ state flag, its kind of funny we tailgaited with a group of about 30 Cards fans and they happend to come hang out and they are both trying to be police officers in the bay area. Maybe one day theyll get revenge on some of you. But niners fans most of you were cool, every city has a couple ***holes, but we partied hard and had a blast thanks for sparing our lives, there were times when I thought we were on a death mission.
