If anyone is interested, there is a fantasy league at NFL.com called 49ersfaithful which is obviously designated for 49ers fans. I just joined it today, there are now 5 members and we need a total of 12 by next Monday to complete the league. The draft is live, and it will take place on Monday, July 17th at 7:00pm Eastern Time (4:00pm Pacific Time). If you're interested go sign up. Thanks.

Only problem about going into a league with 49ers fans, is Gore/Bryant/Davis will be coveted compared to if you joined sombody elses league. Not that Davis is really a "sleeper" but I'm hoping he'll be rated around 10th TE and produce like a top 5 (3 maybe??) hehe. No way any of those guys will go where they're "projected" in a league full of 49ers fans :)

Cool! Only problem is, in my opinion, July 17 is too early to draft. I usually wait until the last week of preseason because so much can change before the season starts (injuries, depth charts, etc.)

It's true that 49ers fans would go after our sleeper picks, but if you want to WIN in fantasy football, you can't be only going after players from your favorite team. So if I was going up against fantasy teams that went after all 49ers players, I'd be a very happy camper :laugh:

I agree, it is a bit too early. This is just one of a 3 fantasy teams I'm doing this year, and it'll probably be the one I pay the least attention to with the draft held so early on.

Well I wasn't saying going after ONLY 49ers. But I think in a league without a bunch of 49er fans, you can pick them up a round or two later than you would in a league with 49er fans.
